She was dressed in loungewear, with a bow headband in her hair, and steam occasionally rose in the room, the aroma wafting everywhere.
In what should have been a warm scene, however, the thought of her behavior made Ethan's gaze at her turn into one of disdain.
Summer knew he was annoyed with her, so she didn't try to butter him up. She didn't even greet him, simply packing the freshly made bento into a thermal box and was about to leave the kitchen, but Ethan blocked her with one arm.
"Where are you going?" His eyes fixed on what she held, his tone was icy.
"The company," Summer replied curtly with two words.
"For whom?" Ethan's first thought was of the phrase "meeting tomorrow" from those chat logs yesterday.
