When Summer Ford came out holding things a few minutes later, Ethan Laurent was on the phone.
Unsure of what the person on the other end said, he stood up, seemingly about to go out.
"Not eating at home?" Summer asked casually.
"Mm." Ethan replied indifferently, grabbed his coat, and turned to leave, not even glancing at the food in her hands.
"Ethan, wait for me!" Ivy Keats moved quickly, and her petite figure seemed a bit delighted as she chased after him.
Summer glanced at the platter in her hands, and then at the empty dining table, feeling slightly annoyed in her heart.
Giving her a hard time, waiting for her to finish making things, and then he leaves, he just did it on purpose!
Although Summer felt disgruntled, she was actually quite happy that Ethan was gone.
With him gone, she wouldn't have to be on guard against him all the time as if ready for battle.
