"Oh, why so careless?" a teasing voice came from one of the men beside her.
Another man even reached out his hand, seemingly trying to lift her face.
Summer Ford caught a glimpse of the man's reaction out of the corner of her eye, her body tensing slightly.
Covering her face with her hand, she skillfully avoided him just as his hand was about to touch her, and Summer Ford got up from the ground.
"Sorry, if there's nothing else, I'll be going now!" Without turning her head, she lowered it and tried to walk towards the door.
However, just as she took a step, a gunshot suddenly rang out behind her.
Before she could react to the situation, a bullet had already swept past her.
Summer Ford's body stiffened completely, suddenly frozen.
"Did my brother say you could leave?" the man who had just spoken stood up lazily and walked towards her, "Since you're here, why not have a few drinks with the gentlemen? If you serve well, I promise you'll reap the benefits, hmm?"
