For Main, this was an unimaginable experience.
Main has always looked down on assassins, thinking they are just rats hiding in the darkness, always sneaky and not at all righteous. In fact, Night Raid doesn't seem like assassins either; they strictly fall somewhere between assassins and killers. Of course, Night Raid wouldn't simply fade into anonymity like Fang Zheng.
But what she witnessed today gave Main a completely new understanding of the assassin profession.
Walking in darkness, serving the light.
To be honest, Main couldn't quite believe that such words would come from assassins, but she had to admit that these words were truly... impactful.
However, the next scene left Main utterly shocked.
Fang Zheng and his group arrived at a high tower, and then Main saw the girl dressed in the assassin's white robe spread her arms and jump directly off the tower!
She jumped off!!
