Katie's father considered himself very cautious.
Early the next morning, he first appeared at the merchant association, took stock of the accounts, and outlined his itinerary. Then, he arranged a time to have lunch with one of the association's chairmen. After lunch, he took a carriage to his residence on the west side of Silver City. After switching through three carriages, changing clothes four times, and choosing five different hiding spots, Katie's father, now "fully armed," finally followed the dirty, foul-smelling sewers to the gathering place.
"Ah, Lord White Face."
Upon seeing Katie's father appear at the gathering site, another cultist wearing a black mask chuckled softly.
"Hello, Lord Black Face."
Hearing the colleague's greeting, Katie's father frowned slightly. However, wearing a white mask, his expression remained unseen.
But the Black Face clearly did not intend to stop there. He chuckled darkly a couple of times and once again looked at Katie's father.
