Bloodline gives the Spirit its shape and attributes, so what role does Spirit play in it?
So it would be very safe to say that the martial soul would be a reflection of a person's path as the relationship between Spirit, bloodline, and spirit power; perhaps it's the same principle as 'human'.
It can be seen as the combination of 'Essence', 'Qi', and 'Spirit'!
'Essence' exists in matter, and 'Spirit' exists in the void. They are distinct, like being in different dimensions, unable to interfere with each other, but they can influence each other through the circulation of 'Qi'.
Similarly, Spirit comes from the manifestation of the soul, given shape and attributes through the bloodline, but it is ultimately illusory and intangible.
However, through the cultivation of spirit power, one can materialize the Spirit… speaking of cultivation it is described in my previous life
Refining Essence into Qi, refining Qi into Spirit. When the body is healthy, the Qi within is sufficient. When Qi is sufficient, it nurtures Spirit… So what about refining Spirit to return to emptiness?
These theories from my previous life, in a World without the extraordinary, became something akin to 'philosophy'. But placed in a World with the extraordinary, they became a grand avenue!
The three treasures of the human body: 'Essence', 'Qi', and 'Spirit'. When these three treasures are sublimated to their peak, one can achieve 'Three Flowers Gathering at the Crown' and transcend the mundane.
And the three treasures of the Douluo Continent are Spirit, spirit power, and mental force. Cultivation also follows this grand avenue. When these three are cultivated to their peak, perhaps that is the path to transcendence
From the moment of birth, a person's body harbors a kind of qi. It cannot be seen, touched, or felt, but it truly exists, influenced by both body and Spirit, and simultaneously influencing both body and Spirit."
When the Spirit is active, the qi is strong, and the body is healthy. Conversely, when the Spirit is sluggish, the qi is weak, and the body feels fatigued.
Similarly, people with healthy bodies have strong qi and active Spirits, while those with sickly bodies have weak qi and lack mental vigor.
This qi, hidden within the acupoints and circulating throughout the body, serves as a bridge connecting the body and Spirit, forming the 'essence,' 'qi,' and 'Spirit'—the three treasures of the human body.
During the Spirit awakening ceremony, the external spirit power provided by the ceremony temporarily replaces one's own 'qi.' Coupled with the bloodline inheritance from the body's 'essence' and the manifestation of one's own 'Spirit' or soul, the combination of these three gives birth to the miraculous existence of a 'Spirit'!
'Essence' gives it form, 'qi' gives it quality, and 'Spirit' gives it divinity.
The 'quality' of a Spirit depends on the circulation path of 'qi' within the body.
During the awakening ceremony, external spirit power replaces 'qi' and circulates within the body. If one is lucky, and it passes through acupoints, activating the 'qi' belonging to oneself that was originally hidden within those acupoints, this originally undetectable 'qi,' with the enhancement of the Spirit, then becomes spirit power that can be perceived.
Or it is called 'Innate Spirit Power'!
The more acupoints it circulates through, the more hidden 'qi' is activated, the higher the Innate Spirit Power, and the higher the 'quality' of the Spirit.
This is why, for the same Spirit, the Innate Spirit Power is not the same. Because the number of acupoints through which spirit power circulates and the amount of qi hidden in the acupoints differ, leading to different Innate Spirit Power, there are also differences in 'quality' among the same Spirits.
A Spirit or martial soul is a combination of 'essence,' 'qi,' and 'Spirit,' or one could say, bloodline, the circulation of qi, and the combination of Spirit. These three complement each other.
There is a limit to the 'three treasures' that a person can carry, restricted by invisible shackles. The cultivation of a Spirit Master is a step-by-step process of breaking these shackles, ultimately transcending the ordinary!
Not to mention that the main cultivation method is meditation which could be coupled with visualization.
Simply put, it was about using mental force to drive the spirit power within the body, circulating it along the path of awakening, gradually strengthening it.
This is the method of cultivating spirit power on the Douluo Continent!
Therefore, a Taoist "Mysterious Heaven Skill" from a martial arts World could cultivate all the way to the divine level in this World, truly benefiting from the overly superficial cultivation system of this World!
Self-cultivation should inherently be about continuously strengthening essence, qi, and Spirit, ultimately achieving the convergence of the three flowers at the crown. According to Taoist theory, it requires specific Refining Essence into Qi, Refining Qi into Spirit, and Refining Spirit into Void, which are three separate steps for refining essence, qi, and Spirit, so that all three can advance simultaneously.
But in this World, a Spirit directly appears, which is a combination of essence, qi, and Spirit. Cultivating the Spirit is cultivating essence, qi, and Spirit…
But even with such an obvious cultivation system, over ten thousand years, only two individuals have been able to transcend through cultivation: Sea God and Angel God although part of the reason is undoubtedly the lack of knowledge and understanding about cultivation part of it is definitely the required energy and resources needed to achieve that level and realm of cultivation
Not to mention there is definitely a reason why the God Realm is called the Douluo God Realm named after this plane although it has the highest potential among the many cultivation systems of the planes under the God Realm it is ultimately just potential not strength as it is up to the practitioner or cultivators to reach and develop it to it's peak
As the owner of the body martial soul in this era which is the most suitable and compatible with the soul master cultivation it is up to me to develop it to its peak although I may lack strength but I definitely don't lack ideas to explore and develop
