Dante arrived at the Nexus and didn't find John anywhere as he was still ascending it seemed. John was already at where Vergil and Dante would have their third fight. He was waiting to see if they would fight against each other or if they wouldn't.
In the meantime outside the Nexus, Ares came out of the ground feeling pain all over his body as he says while smiling, "Yeah, that was a punch of a Godking. He almost killed me there."
"It seems, you are happy about something I wouldn't be proud about," says Nora as she looked at Ares who was dusting off himself because of the dust he collected a moment ago from the crushing defeat.
"That's because I live for battle. I live to wage war and to die on the battlefield," says Ares as his followers were fighting against the demons around them.
"The more blood is spilled on the battlefield the stronger I get," says Ares as Nora sighs and looks towards the sky seeing people entering it.
"The time is not right yet. I will tell you when you should go up there with your new friend. For now, let us decimate the number of demons that are trying to invade this World," says Nesiara as she sees Nora look up when she turns to Lady.
"You will have your revenge but until then you will join us in this little skirmish," says Nesiara at Lady who was holding her bazooka with both hands.
"So exterminating small flies before we get to the big one," says Lady making Nesiara chuckle from hearing her.
"We all start at the bottom. My husband and I are no exception to it," says Nesiara as she looks at the hole in the sky.
"The Godking said you are stronger than me. Show me your real strength," says Ares wanting to see Nesiara's real strength.
"How about I give you a glimpse of my real strength," says Nesiara as she removed her armor before her Ki began to rise.
Ares was surprised as was Nora because she hasn't seen her mother going that high before. Nesiara was slowly changing as her hair grew all over her arms and shoulders while the world was trembling because her Ki was rising too fast. She went straight for SSGSS5 as she was not only radiating power that was making the three shiver from feeling it but they aren't the only ones the demons all stopped what they were doing.
Nesiara smiles as she raises her hand and a beam of ki leaves her palm. That beam reached the sky and once there it split up into thousands of beams that flew in all directions towards the earth.
Lady thought Nesiara went crazy from power when she saw those beams falling towards the earth. She was pointing her bazooka at Nesiara before one of those beams landed behind her. She turned around and found sand left behind making it obvious that a demon was about to attack her.
Then she sees how a group of beams followed a group of bat-demons killing them making Nora say, "Why would you need my help if you could just use that move."
"Because of what happens when I stay too long in this form," says Nesiara as the earth was trembling under their feet all of a sudden.
Nesiara turned back into her normal form as her pressure alone could break the planet. She looked at the sky and sees someone falling from it.
"It's time for you two to get up there. But remember that once up there you won't be able to return without bloodying your hands," says Nesiara looking at Lady as she was talking to her and not Nora.
"Then let us go up there. I need to do this and avenge my mother," says Lady as she grabbed Nora's arms.
"Then let us go," says Nora as she was worried about Lady because she was about to kill her father.
"Ares, you deal with the demons that are still coming out of that portal," says Nora looking at Ares who sighs.
"Not a glorious battle but it is a battle that I will win," says Ares as Nora takes hold of Lady and she flew towards the top of the tower.
"That you will win this battle? I haven't seen you move one finger the whole time," says Nesiara as Ares begins to laugh out loud.
"Let me show you why I am called the God of War," says Ares as he sees the demons coming through the portal in the sky.
He points his sword at it as he begins to get engulfed in Fire Qi making him grow bigger becoming a Fire Giant when he swings his sword killing all demons that were coming out of it. They burned to ash as the sky was split in two while the clouds seemed to have caught fire from Ares's attack.
Ares was laughing as Nesiara just sighs as she rolls her eyes distancing herself from Ares while thinking, 'I don't know this God.'
Nora and Lady arrived at the top of the tower and find someone crawling on the ground as they landed. The person was crawling quite slowly toward them.
"Those damn bastards, if it wasn't for them I would have become a god," says Arkham crawling away leaving a trail of blood behind him.
He looks up and sees them both stare at him as he looks at his daughter and says, "Mary help me."
"Help you? After everything you did to me. You stabbed your own daughter and left her to bleed out if it wasn't for my friend over here," says Lady as she glared at her father viciously.
"Did I do something wrong, even the 'Great Sparda' sacrificed a woman to seal the Gates to Demon World. I just followed in his footsteps," says Arkham as Nora wanted to kill him now.
Arkham seemed to have fallen quite deep. Lady stopped Nora as she pulls out her gun and Arkham looks at Lady confused.
"Are you going to kill your own father. This won't bring your mother back," says Arkham staring into the barrel of the gun.
"No, but I also don't have a father," says Lady as she pulled the trigger killing Arkham before breaking down.
Nora hugged Lady as Lady cried her soul out on her shoulder when two people come out of the portal from the sky Nora and Lady see them and they point their weapons at them.
"Now calm down we are all friends now thanks to your father," says Dante placing himself between them.
"Where is he?" asks Nora as she was worried because the portal in the sky was slowly fading making them know that the Nexus was closing itself again.
"Let me explain," says Vergil as he and Dante know what John's plan is.
In the Nexus while crazy shit was going on outside, Dante and Vergil were pointing Ebony and Ivory at Arkham who has tried to assimilate Sparda's power when they say, "Jackpot!"
Shooting at Arkham separating him from Sparda's power and pushing him out of the Nexus while the floor under their feet broke making them land some floors lower.
They arrived in a room that had a stream in it while Sparda's concealed Devilsword was between both holding their amulets. Vergil slowly approached the sword and true to his word he separated the amulets giving Dante his part back.
"We are done here. I need to return to my woman," says Vergil surprising Dante who didn't assimilate this information fast enough.
"Woman? You and a woman," says Dante as Vergil only smiles looking at Yamato.
"He was right, I was childish to believe that fighting you would without a purpose would make me stronger. And yes, I have a woman. Why do you think did I want father's power to begin with? It is so that what happened to us wouldn't happen to them. But John was right the moment I saw you only my rivalry against you sparkled up again to show that I am stronger than you forgetting them," says Vergil as he picked up Force Edge and threw it at Dante.
"Keep it safe. I am not strong enough to withstand its power," says Vergil as Dante was more than confused.
"So we are back to happy family or what?" asks Dante as Vergil lifts his shoulders.
"That depends on you," says Vergil when they hear someone clapping his hands together.
"It seems my trust in you both was not betrayed after all," says John as he came out of the shadows he was watching them.
"But you should leave the Nexus will soon collapse and you will be trapped between the Demon World and Earth," says John as he walked towards the edge of the stream that falls into an endless abyss.
"I have still some business to deal with on the other side of this Abyss," says John as he turned to the twins.
"Are you crazy, even our father couldn't deal with the Demon World," says Dante when John smiles.
"That's because your father was a demon while I surpassed that a long time ago," says John as Dante was now even more confused while Vergil was puzzling everything together.
"You mean to say that you are a God," says Vergil as Dante opened his mouth wide.
"Indeed, but even that I have surpassed a long time ago with all the power I command. But my wife can talk to you about that," says John as the ceiling was slowly falling around them.
"You should leave now," says John as he smiles at them while letting himself fall backward into the Abyss while shouting, "We will see each other, once I have found your father!"
Vergil and Dante looked into the abyss seeing that John disappeared in it when Vergil puts his hand on Dante's shoulder while saying, "You heard him. We need to leave if we don't want to be trapped here forever."
Dante nods as they begin to move and they rush towards the exit of the Nexus that leads towards Earth. Once outside they met with Nora and Lady.
