The next day, the Ping Family welcomed an unexpected visitor.
Fu Shuzhen and Gu Yuehong arrived in a special vehicle, carrying large bags of things and came in person. The mother and daughter were all smiles, completely unlike their previous arrogant and overbearing demeanor when they sent people away.
"Simin." Gu Yuehong immediately spotted Ping Simin, smilingly went forward and grabbed her hand, holding onto it so strongly that Ping Simin couldn't shake it off.
"Simin, I've come to see you. Seeing you look well puts my mind at ease. You have no idea how worried I've been all this time. I've always wanted to visit you but feared you wouldn't want to see outsiders, so I waited until now."
Gu Yuehong's enthusiasm was overwhelming for Ping Simin.
