At the crossroads outside the teahouse, Meng Ping was holding a black umbrella, half of his body already drenched by the rain. He looked at Su Yun by the roadside as if he were looking at a dead person.
He had never had much affection for Su Yun, but out of respect for his father, he felt he had shown her the courtesy and respect a stepson should. But now... he wished he could just rid himself of Su Yun.
"Meng Ping, why are you here?" Su Yun asked, feeling guilty.
"Heh heh heh... Of course, I'm here to find you."
"You... why are you looking for me? You haven't been home for a long time."
"Is that a home? Can a place with you in it still be called home?" Meng Ping sneered at her, making Su Yun feel terrified.
"Come back with me!" As soon as he finished speaking, the people following him stepped up and blocked Su Yun's path to prevent her from leaving.
"I'm not going back, I don't want to go back."
