"I'll walk you home," Qin Yue said seriously, putting away his playful expression, "I promise I won't do anything out of line."
In the end, Sheng An was still half-dragged by Qin Yue all the way to the village. There weren't many people on the roads at noon, and large snowflakes fluttered down from the sky. Sheng An huddled up as Qin Yue easily carried the basket of beansprouts.
"Are you cold?"
Sheng An didn't respond to him.

Sheng An gave him an annoyed look; this man really had a thick skin.
"This is too much for you," he continued, "How about I just propose to your father today and take care of you from now on?"
