After the gruesome battle with the vampires that left each Academy seriously wounded, all six academies soon compromised and decided to focus on fortifying themselves first rather than actively look for trouble.
With that the following days were as peaceful as it can be since all six academies established their own territory all over the island. In this regard the share for territory were distributed to each Academy based on their contribution on the subjugation.
Due to this Gritonnia Academy's territory are far smaller than the other academies. But despite that no one on their side were mad at this decision since they don't have to worry about food source.
Even though having a small territory, their base being located in the waterfalls is already a big plus since they have steady supply of fresh water and food coming from fishes swimming upstream and plants growing near the waterfalls that got nourished by its wet enviroment.
As for the others, they have their own way of procuring food themselves.
The peace lasted for quite awhile, to the point that from 17th day to 14th day, nothing much ever happened and no death was recorded. However on the 15th day which is already half a month since they arrived on the island, a problem arose when a few students from Elludkal Academy confidently stride over their territory and argued about the waterfall.
Naturally aside from few students from Gritonnia Academy that faced the trespassers, Rosalyn, Sonia, and Goran joined their side as they confront the trespassers from Elludkal Academy that are flaunting their confidence to face the whole Academy themselves.
"What's the meaning of this? Didn't we already agree on what part of the island we would take as our territory? Why are you guys here? This is a blatant trespassing!!!" Said by Rosalyn as she couldn't even hide her annoyance
"Yes we did agree about this but taking over the whole waterfall for yourself is a bit much right?" Said by one of the Elludkal Academy student who act as their groups leader
"A bit much? The waterfall is in our territory, so it's only natural we took over it? Didn't you have a whole lake for yourself?" Roared by Goran as he saw Rosalyn being flabbergasted by their remark
"A lake and a waterfall is different, since a lake is an enclosed space, we have limited food supply, however the falls not only can it provide for your whole Academy, it can also provide for all the academies present on the island, it literally has a constant food source" said by one of the girl on the Elludkal Academy group.
"Yeah! But you can always fish at the river connected to the waterfall, if you do that we wouldn't even bat an eye" argued by Rosalyn
"A waterfall and a river is different, plus the waterfall can be a strategic area, so as the Academy near your territory, we feel a bit threatened" said by the guy on the Elludkal Academy group
"Oh don't give me that! Threatened? Your base is located about 3 kilometers away from us, even with the strategic location like the waterfall, your still too far for it to be a threat to your Academy" said by Sonia who already putted her hand on her waist
"A threat is a threat no matter how far it is, and as your neighbor we can't just sit still like a duck and wait for it right?" Said by the leader of the group
"For christ sake!!!" Reacted by Sonia
"We understand your worries, but I can assure you no threat will head your way, you can take my word for it" said by Rosalyn as she tried to break the tension
"We can't just take your word for it, you may be a big shot in your Academy, but for us you are nothing... how about this we will compromise, so how about we split the area of the waterfall in half, on one side we get the half on the other you get yours... with that both sides can benefit from the waterfalls" suggested by the leader of the group
Hearing that Goran couldn't take it any longer and tried to expose their intention.
"So that's it! That's your goal! You just want a piece of the waterfall yourself! You greedy son of a..."
"Come on! We are all humans and sister Academy, the least we could do is share right?" Said by the leader of the group
"Share? This is blatant invasion, if we give in to your suggestion now, who knows when you'll try to exploit it and takeover the whole waterfall for yourself... this kind of trick is often used in the business world and politics, do you think I'm ignorant of it? Your mistakenly wrong" said by Rosalyn
"I see your knowledgeable on that area, and here I thought you guys are ignorant, alright no need to blatantly lie on my face.... we want your waterfall so give it up!" Said by the leader of the group
"Give it up? Our base is built beside it, and you want us to give it up? Your basically telling us to move" said by Goran who already is trying hard to not pull out his sword
"Exactly! We want this place, no we recognized its value... so instead of having you guys occupy it, we will occupy it instead so give it up or else"
"Or else what?" Shot back by Sonia
"Or else it means war"
The moment everyone heard this, all the students in the Gritonnia Academy side couldn't hide their anger, as a of them areready itching to pull out their weapon and eliminate the three students from the Elludkal Academy.
"I think your mistaken about something, do you think our silence and avoidance in the subjugation means we are weak? You have no idea how wrong you are, your going to regret your words" said by Rosalyn
"Regret? You think your forces scare us? Aside from Shun, the rest of you guys are nothing... but for Shun himself, we have our mean on how to handle him, no worries" said by the leader of the group
"Is that so? Your that confident eh? Don't regret your words" said by Rosalyn as she gripped the hilt of her sword as tight as it can be
"So this means war then"
"Its war"
With the conversation breaking off, both sides split up as Elludkal Academy declared war on Gritonnia Academy causing all the surrounding Academy to take notice of the conflict. From there the start of the war begun to commence.
