"Ok everyone back to your seats."
"Excuse me, Screen?" Stitch questions, garnering the attention of the theater goers.
"What is it."
"I just wanted to be sure, but after this episode, the rest of the viewings will all be the future. Correct?" Stitch asks with a hint of uncertainty.
"Not entirely, but yes."
"For the episodes that show us the future, how set in stone is said future?" Stitch questioned while motioning with his hands.
"The future you will view would be what would have happened if none of you came here. Once you leave, every action you take will ultimately change your paths. Whether Garou kills you all, or Saitama becomes evil is completely up to you."
The room goes silent at that. Sure everyone remembered the Screen talking about Garou murdering everyone and they felt confident they could handle it… but Saitama going evil? It sounded crazy. Impossible even. The goofy apathetic baldy that everyone had grown to begrudgingly respect or admire. If he went down the path of villainy, would there even be a way to stop him?
"Oi oi. Don't say foreboding stuff like that, I'm not gonna go evil." Saitama waves his hand in dismissal with a fully disapproving tone.
"I agree. Master would never fall down the path of villainy!" Genos exclaims. The sheer ludicrousness of implying that his Sensei could turn from his path of heroics felt offensive.
"Yeah I second that. Saitama has done a lot for us. I highly doubt he'd turn to the side of darkness so easily." Mumen Rider says with a displeased look as Saitama just stares at the biking hero in a bit of surprise.
"I'm pretty sure the baldy going evil is as incapable of occurring as wannabe biker over here not rushing into a fight he can't win." Tatsumaki retorts with a raised eyebrow. She wasn't exactly sure what the screen was playing at, but she didn't like the implications.
"Yeah Mr. Saitama is awesome! He one punches evil!" Tareo yells out with a smile on his face while punching at the air. Garou rolls his eyes.
"As hard as it may be to believe, there exists a world where Saitama has fallen from his path."
All eyes widen at this fact drop, bodies freezing as if they were threatened by the Saitama in the room himself.
"B-but that's not!" Child Emperor stutters fearfully at the thought.
"No way…" Metal Bat mutters under his breath while glancing over to the apathetic bald hero.
"Hmm. An evil Saitama? Perhaps a world where he hadn't spared me? Or anyone for that matter… Truly a gruesome fate." Dr. Genus ruminates on the topic with a heavy expression.
"I wonder what happened to me in that universe?" King wondered, in a surprising amount of calm stability rather than panic.
Saitama just looks down at his hands with a grimace. So he was right? If he had taken a path similar to Boros, or heck, even Hammerhead… he would've…
"Lies!" Genos cries out while swiping his hand. His eyes filled with a dangerous amount of anger. "Master would nev-"
Saitama puts a hand on Genos' shoulder, shocking the cyborg into turning to look at his Master, and stares deeply into his eyes. "It's ok Genos. It's not this world. And the Screen's not entirely wrong."
Saitama glances around at the sudden silence when realizing how that could sound to others. "Ope, not like that. I'm not like planning anything. It's just… I kinda see where it could've gone wrong… that's all." Saitama explains in a slightly frantic manner when noticing all the gazes directed toward him.
"Well then. Let us hope it never comes to that Saitama-kun. We shall prevent it from happening, as heroes, and as your fellow comrades." Bang states in a contentful manner while nodding at the bald hero. Saitama just smiles back at the old man. The rest of the heroes also nod at each other with a firm belief that they'd be able to prevent such a terrible future from happening, minus a few who just stare at the bald hero.
"Well, enough of that, time to get this show on the road."
"Man. I was all excited and now I'm super bummed." Metal Bat groans, trying to shake the somber thoughts out of his head.
"I'm sure you'll be fine." Zombie Man chuckles while leaning back into his chair.
"We'll finally get to see Boros fight. I really wanted to know what happened on the ship!" Child Emperor declares with stars in his eyes.
"Me too! Cause I wasn't even awake at this point heh." Mosquito Girl comments with a chuckle.
"Wait, you weren't awake?" Zombie Man questioned in curiosity while turning backwards to face the bug monster.
"Oh yeah. I was still healing from the… you know." Mosquito Girl trails off while motioning with her fist. Though she was a monster, she still held quite a bit of fear from the event that almost killed her.
Zombie Man just nods in understanding.
"Still surprised you survived. Are you sure you're not a cockroach?" Metal Bat laughs as the mosquito monster grows furious.
"Oi! Just because you're a hero doesn't mean you get to insult me!" Mosquito Girl yells out in anger as Genus raises a hand to prevent her from doing anything rash.
"Enough." Genus sternly commands as Mosquito Girl just sighs and sits back down.
Meanwhile, over to the psychic sisters. "Do you think Saitama feels discontent?" Tatsumaki jolts a teeny bit as her sister's voice enters her mind.
"Hah? Of course he is." Tatsumaki responds in an irritated tone.
Fubuki's eyes widened at this. "What do you mean sister?"
Tatsumaki sighs. "Listen, you don't get it because you're not strong-" Fubuki glares briefly before her sister holds her finger up. "Let me finish. You don't get it because when you're that strong-" Tatsumaki points at the bald head of Saitama. "You don't get to fight things and have fun while doing it. Which, if you forgot, that was the whole reason the idiot began being a hero."
Fubuki raises an eyebrow. "But why would he feel so discontent with his strength if he worked so hard to gain it?"
Tatsumaki just audibly facepalms, gaining a few odd looks from those around her. "This is what I meant by you don't get it, Fubuki." Tatsumaki sighs and cuts off the communication, leaving the younger of the two confused.
"If I became that strong after training I'd be elated." Fubuki mutters in her mind with discontent. Maybe her sister didn't get it because she was never weak like herself… "But, that's not the case with Saitama is it? He was weak too. At one point. So then not having a good fight is that impactful to him? The spark the Screen showed actually meant more?"
The screen brightens as per tradition, Fubuki flinches as Tatsumaki rolls her eyes at her sister.
The screen opens to Boros rushing Saitama in a brilliant display of speed, landing a punch which the bald hero blocks. The wind pressure from Boros' punch blasts debris away.
"Holy crap we just started and it's already frickin awesome!" Metal Bat grins widely while getting up from his seat in a pumped up pose.
"You know I feel like I would've been impressed with Boros' speed if I didn't see Saitama run on the treadmill." Child Emperor sighs while still noting the actions taken on the screen.
Boros grins widely before delivering a rush of punches which Saitama blocks with one arm. Boros reels backwards before throwing a wild haymaker, sending Saitama backwards as the apathetic hero continues to defend against Boros' attacks.
Tatsumaki's eyes widen as she flicks the bald hero in the back of his head to grab his attention.
"Huh?" Saitama turns slightly to face the short esper with a dumbfounded expression.
"Be quick. Are you actually getting pushed back or were you letting the alien kick your ass." Tatsumaki questioned in his mind, much to his surprise.
Saitama's look gains that same neutral appearance as before. "Yeah. You'll understand. Probably."
Tatsumaki waits a few seconds, studying Saitama's expression, before simply exhaling and returning her attention to the screen.
Saitama began backpedaling quickly while simultaneously blocking all of Boros' attacks. The two continue to fly around the chamber as Boros lands hit after hit, though Saitama remains unfazed.
Flashy Flash narrows his eyes as Sonic just gapes like a fish. "So he can move omnidirectionally at those speeds as well? What a monster."
Meanwhile Garou was having similar thoughts. "Can I even block that many attacks?" Garou shakes his head quickly to rid himself of those unnecessary thoughts and clenches his fists. He'll become stronger, then, he'll take them all on. Just like the Screen said.
Finally, after the two hit each other into pillars and blast forward, Saitama raises his fist to throw a punch. The two connect and a large explosion occurs as Saitama lands, unharmed, while Boros' arm bloody falls to the floor.
The more excitable of the room shout out in elation.
"That's amazing! He blocked all of the attacks so easily!" Tareo exclaims while jumping in his seat.
"Hoh. Even with the speed of those attacks he blocks quite flawlessly." Bang notes as Bomb nods his head in appreciation of the technique, despite there being no actual technique.
"With speed like that, you don't really expect him to get hit unless he lets you I guess." Atomic Samurai mutters while fiddling with his wheat stalk.
"Do you think you could survive those hits?" Puri Puri asks his fellow muscle heads.
Tank Top Master quickly shakes his head. "I'm fairly certain that Boros would obliterate me, after all, he's standing toe to toe with Saitama. I don't think I've seen him block an attack before."
Darkshine seems to ponder it for a second. "Hm… I think I could take it, but I don't think I'd be able to defeat him."
A shocked expression covers the Dominator's face before it turns into a smile.
"Though my true power has been unleashed, you are still able to keep up." Boros turns to face his adversary.
"Yeah. You're pretty strong, too." Saitama responds while lifting his fist as a show of readiness.
Genos' eyes widened. "Sensei does acknowledge him…" Genos stares down at his hand and clenches it while wearing a firm expression. "I must become stronger… So that I may be worthy to stand by Master's side."
Meanwhile on the outside of the ship. A certain Tank Top wearing hero is seen observing from the ground. "Putting City A back together might be impossible. Well, right now I should be focusing on the battle. She may be rank 2 or whatever, but I can't leave it to one little girl." Tank Top Master begins flexing his arm as an aura of strength radiates.
"HAH? LITTLE GIRL!?" Tatsumaki immediately floats up and stares down at the now cowering Tank Top wearer.
"U-uh. I-I'd like to apologize!" Tank Top Master screams in fear while covering his head.
"Eh. Tatsumaki-chan please don't hurt him, I'm sure he didn't mean it." Puri Puri Prisoner asks kindly. Darkshine just looks nervously over to the floating esper.
Tatsumaki rolls her eyes, still angry, but reigning it in as she floats back down to her seat with a large amount of muttered words under her breath.
Tank Top Master was currently hyperventilating. How the hell was he supposed to know his thoughts would be broadcast to the audience.
"I got my own ways of fighting enemies in the air." With one arm, Tank Top Master lifts an enormous chunk of a building and chucks it, causing a small explosion to occur on the ship's underside. "Like this!"
"Nice throw." Saitama gives a thumbs up toward the still scared hero, but it seems ironically patronizing.
"Hmph. If you think that's anything, wait until you see what I do!" Tatsumaki smirks to which Fubuki just rolls her eyes.
"Eh, but I'm used to your stuff now. It's nice seeing everyone else work." Saitama smiles before turning back toward the screen, much to Tatsumaki's irritation.
"Alright then! I'll show him. We are so having that second match after this." Tatsumaki mischievously thinks.
Fubuki along with Genos just sigh at their banter. They thought they'd get used to this by now, but I guess not.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" A shrill voice calls out to the now confused Tank Top Master who's footing gets lifted into the air.
"This area's got some nice rubble. Hurry up and get out of my way." Tatsumaki states as she lifts buildings, cars, etc. into the air.
"She's using her psychic power?!" Tank Top Master grimaces at his incapability.
"What'd you think I'd do blockhead? Kick them?" Tatsumaki sneers at the still terrified Tank Top Master.
"You could chill a little Tats. I think he learned his lesson." Saitama mutters with a deadpan to the still annoyed esper.
"Tch. Whatever." Tatsumaki scoffs while turning her head away. Who the hell was he to tell her what to do?
Mumen Rider sweat drops. "Saitama really knows how to press Ms. Tornado's buttons. I fear for everyone's safety." Mumen Rider does a quick prayer to whoever was watching them, hopefully to mitigate some damage.
Like clockwork, Tatsumaki begins launching the rubble and replicates her bullet barrage once more, exploding the belly of the ship and causing massive damage.
"I give up!" Tank Top Master dejected screams in his mind.
"Hmph. As you should." Tatsumaki smugly declares.
"Is it me or can I see Sis' ego grow?" Fubuki deadpans while staring at her dear eldest.
A group of aliens on the ship not dead yet begin to panic at the shaking.
"We're under attack again!"
"Return fire!"
"The guns are jacked!"
"Seriously?! We're dead meat!"
"This planet's too tough!"
"Lord Boros!"
The alien from the artillery bridge can be seen crying. "I wanna go home…"
From afar, Genos and Child Emperor could be seen watching as Tatsumaki lays waste to the ship continuously.
Genos watches in awe as the ship tilts and buckles. "Such incredible power. Tornado may actually bring it down on her own."
"Hm. So you do acknowledge my power tin-can?" Tatsumaki grins smugly with pride.
Genos gives her a side-ways glance. "Tch." Before turning back at the screen.
Tatsumaki gains multiple anger marks while gritting her teeth. "This frickin brat."
Suddenly the only other cyborg in the S Class walks up to the two. "I have errands to run. I will head out now. Things appear under control."
Child Emperor, lifted high by his robotic crab legs, looks down at the red eyed cyborg. "Sure, go ahead. Some heroes have already left."
Drive Knight walks over to Genos. "Before I go, Genos, have you got a second? There's something I wish to tell you."
"Drive Knight, Class S, rank 9. This is a first…" Genos notes as Drive Knight walks past him, only stopping just close enough for Genos to listen.
"Listen. Metal Knight is your 'enemy.' Be careful." Genos' eyes narrow at this as Drive Knight begins walking away.
"Hoh. What could you possibly mean Drive Knight?" Metal Knight questions the cyborg next to him. The tension becomes palpable as red eyes meet red eye.
"I see no reason to explain myself. Metal Knight." Despite the transforming cyborg's tone of voice not changing, his words sounded somewhat venomous.
Pig god sweat drops at the two's confrontation.
"Man you guys got beef or what?" Metal Bat questions, totally not getting the mood of the room.
Zombie Man just sighs tiredly.
No one else really bothers to interject, if they wanted to beef they could beef.
"What do you mean?" The Demon Cyborg turns to question the cryptic statement.
"You will know soon enough. But for now, stay away from him." Drive Knight answers back before disappearing from view.
"Is Drive Knight implying that Metal Knight's arsenal is too dangerous to keep unchecked? Or is there more?" Stitch questioned himself. The benefits Metal Knight gave for cooperation and etc. felt equal… but now he wasn't so sure anymore.
Back with Melzargard and the other heroes.
Melzargard forms a large blade before grinning and rushing at Atomic Samurai who slashes the attack away. Melzargard reforms the blade into many piercing points and shoots them at Atomic Samurai who once again slashes away any and all of the attacks.
Angered, Melzargard reforms his arm into an even larger array of sharp objects and blasts them forward at Atomic Samurai who spins skillfully through the blades and cuts them down before backing up to avoid being slashed.
Melzargard laughs as Atomic Samurai face twists into intense anger. "Bastard. You sure make things interesting."
The warped face of Melzargard smiles gleefully. "I'm beginning to taste victory."
Until a sigh is heard from a certain old hero.
"The stiffness in my shoulders is gone. But I suppose I'm a little rusty." Bang mutters while fixing his shoulder up and twisting his arm in a stretching motion.
"Silver Fang is so cool!" Tareo glimmers as he watches the older hero get up from the heavy attack he took. Garou smirks, before quickly wiping it off his face, hoping his former teacher didn't notice.
Bang just smiles as he had indeed noticed the interactions between the young child and his former student. It made him hopeful for the futures to come.
Melzargard's face warps into confusion and frustration. "You live—?"
"Hey. Forget something?" In the brief moment where Bang had taken the focus of the alien, Atomic Samurai had moved up and delivered his signature move.
"Atomic Slash!"
Mumen just gawks at the sheer number of slashes that take up the screen. "Incredible! The S Class are truly monsters of their own rights!"
Atomic Samurai appears pleased at the praise, though he hides it pretty well at a glance.
The body of Melzargard falls into many tiny cube pieces before they steam and begin to reform.
"Insolence… Such complete insolence!" The mist creates a cloud of particles, lowering visibility as Bang walks in the center of it all with little care.
"You move your heart-thing around your body to hide its location. But your regeneration always begins with your head and in the center lies…" The singular head of Melzargard reforms when suddenly Bang's hand pierces through and finds the marble.
"Wow. Cool stuff jiji." Saitama says while throwing finger guns at Bang. Even though his emotions were dulled he could still appreciate skill every now and then. It was cool.
"Thank you Saitama-kun, perhaps you would like to learn-" Bang gets cut off by Saitama's hand being raised.
"No thanks." Saitama bluntly states, much to the chuckling of Bang's seatmates.
"Silver Fang-sama has such control over his movement. I wonder how skilled he was in his prime?" Genos questioned in his mind.
"…your heart. After seeing it so much, even a monkey'd figure it out. See? Checkmate." Bang explains as Melzargard's eyes widen in disbelief and slight terror.
"Noooooo!" The alien screams as Bang ends Melzargard with a single flex of his fingers.
"Silverfang-sama!" Iaian runs up to the hero in amazement.
Atomic Samurai seathes his blade with a smug smile directed toward the old fighter. "All I needed was one more swing. Keep your hands to yourself, Silverfang."
"Goodness, I really do need to do more full-body workouts." Bang chuckles while punching at his back to loosen his muscles.
"Mr. Bang you already look so strong!" Tareo calls out in disbelief as Bang chuckles along with his on screen counterpart.
"These old muscles need more time to warm up." Bang smiles softly at the young child who just has stars in his eyes.
"We got all the heads. That means…victory is ours!" Puri Puri declares.
"Yah, but there's still that big-ass ship up there." Metal Bat points out, as the small group looks up to see multiple explosions blasting through the hull. Tornado was still keeping up the assault.
"Uh… why did you guys stay under the ship if Tats was trying to bring it down?" Saitama questioned the group of fighters who were present.
"Because-... Wait… why did we?" Metal Bat slowly drawled out, suddenly realizing the stupidity of it.
"Great question baldy." Tatsumaki snickered as Atomic Samurai and Bang looked at each other in confusion. Why hadn't they moved? Bomb just gave them an exasperated look.
Tank Top Master and Darkshine shot Puri a look to which he just shrugged. He wasn't entirely sure either.
"All right, this is the last of the reported survivors. Let's move!" Lightning Max summarizes.
"Right." Stinger nods while helping up an injured woman.
Mumen Rider can be seen gazing up at the enormous ship.
Lightning Max turns around, noticing Mumen's lack of movement. "Mumen! Quit your staring and come on!"
Mumen Rider turns back and nods. "Yeah, okay."
Queue Season 1 Op
"Woah, it's the music." Child Emperor says while looking up from his computer for a second.
"I don't think I'll ever get used to this stuff!" Metal Bat exclaims while air guitaring with his bat.
Zombie Man chuckles. "Yeah it's a pretty good song."
"Not really up to my tastes." Armored Gorilla mutters accidentally causing the others to look at him in growing interest.
"You have music tastes?" Metal Bat questions, intrigued by the idea of monsters liking music. While the question was mostly directed to Armored Gorilla, Mosquito Girl felt obligated to answer as well.
"Well of course we do! I personally like this song, but I like that metal music." Mosquito Girl explains.
"I like the soft music." The bashful gorilla answers while fiddling with his fingers.
"Wow the more you know I guess." Child Emperor shrugs before turning back at the screen to a shocking display.
The scene quickly changes to Boros throwing a barrage of punches with one arm. Saitama rapidly blocks with open palms and redirects Boros' blows.
Boros throws a right hook causing Saitama to dodge to the left. Boros follows instantly and throws Saitama into a pillar. The one eyed alien wears a massive grin as he rushes Saitama. Saitama stares back with a slight bit of surprise evident on his face.
"HOLY SHIT! SAITAMA YOU'RE GETTING YOUR ASS BEAT!" Metal Bat shouts in pure disbelief.
Saitama in turn chuckles while smiling briefly. "He was strong."
"I can't believe we're watching the guy who jumped past the moon and ran faster than light get bodied." Zombie Man mutters in a neutral tone yet somehow sounding deluded.
"What a specimen! I wish I could have learned more about this Boros' species!" Dr. Genus evil laughs, much to the concern of his creations.
Almost instantly, the two trade punches and attacks, blasting each other back, only for them to rush forward to trade blows once more. A trail of blue and purple along with red and yellow are left behind in the wake of their destruction and speed.
Boros once again throws Saitama back and then proceeds to send a gut punch straight into Saitama and through another block of pillars.
Saitama lays still as he finally stops going through pillars until Boros runs forward, melting the floor, and jumps through a pillar. The alien prepares a full body drop kick and liquifies said pillar before landing his mark.
"Did you not feel any of that Saitama?" Fubuki questioned while watching in shocked awe to which Saitama nodded with a small grin.
"This is insane. It's literally out of this world." Mumen Rider laughed it up. He couldn't imagine a fight like this in all of his years.
A single tear falls down Genos' face. "I am honored to be alive to witness Master's glory." Saitama sweat drops at this. He was glad they were enjoying it at least.
Saitama, unfazed, begins running backwards up a pillar avoiding the next attacks Boros' throws until they find themselves on top of the ship, the bright blue sky contrasting the previously dark environment.
Bang just watches in continued amazement. It was truly a miracle that he was alive to witness such a great battle.
Atomic Samurai was sweat dropping at how intense the fight was. It was a monster versus an even bigger monster.
King just felt like sinking into his seat, his panic rising by the second. "This is the guy I stole credit from? I'm the absolute worst! I know the Screen said I'd be fine, but I'm gonna need an unnatural amount of luck!"
Saitama lands a few feet away from Boros as Boros also lands with a maniac smile spreading across his face. "Nice moves. As I thought, you are strong."
More energy seems to pour out of Boros as he begins glowing even brighter. "Of all the myriad beings I have fought, only you… survived this long!" Saitama just stares with his neutral expression.
Boros charges the blue energy and condenses it into a large blast, sending it forward toward the unfazed hero. "Now to release the destructive energy held within me! Any normal creature hit by it would find even their bones vaporized!"
The top part of the ship where Boros launched his attack ignites into a plume of flames. Saitama takes the full force of the attack head on, but just stands up with a bored look.
"You are absolutely crazy! You just tanked that blast head on!" Metal Bat shouts in excitement and pumps his fist into the air.
"I guess that answers how durable Saitama can be." Child Emperor sighs while noting it down on his computer.
"Could I? Even survive a blast like that?" Zombie Man questioned to himself silently.
Almost instantly, Boros appears behind Saitama and back fists his head while wearing a grin. "Behind you!"
Saitama stands his ground, the punch only moving his body posture a little. Boros jumps back a tiny bit as his grin widens. "You were a worthy opponent, but the outcome of this battle is clear. My species won the struggle to survive amidst the harsh environment of our home world."
Tatsumaki's eyes widened before she began grinning. "Heh you taking it seriously now baldy?" Tatsumaki questions Saitama as he turns around to answer her.
"Eh I was getting a little bored to be honest." Saitama shrugs much to the dismay of Fubuki and Mumen. Tatsumaki just stares neutrally. Almost as if she could understand to a certain extent.
Genos suddenly turns from the screen to face his teacher. "Master, if I were to fight Boros, how badly would I be defeated?" Genos asks blatantly.
Saitama winces slightly while imagining Genos trying to fight Boros. "Uh… I don't think you'd last that long Genos. He was pretty strong, I think you'll see soon. He has a few moves up his sleeve and I think Tats might have trouble with one of his attacks too."
"Thank you Sensei." Genos bows his head, grateful that his Master didn't choose to lie to him or cheer him up falsely.
"Hah!? Do you have that little faith in my capabilities, egg head?" Tatsumaki questions, clearly annoyed, though not in an overly aggressive manner. She felt like if anyone else had said this she would be enraged… but if Saitama said it, maybe it was grounded in some reality.
A few eyebrows raise at this, wondering just how much crazier this fight could get.
The scene changes as it showcases Boros' planetary system. "We possess the ultimate in regenerative abilities. I, in particular, have self-healing power, physical prowess and latent energy beyond your conception. A deep wound that would be fatal for you heals itself on me in mere moments."
"By focusing all my energy on my destroyed arm, I can explosively speed up the healing process." Boros' arm stump shakes a tiny bit before the entire appendage reappears as the one eyed alien opens his hand to show off the newly healed limb.
"Oh of course! What is it with all these aliens having regeneration!" Metal Bat scoffs while waving his bat.
"Well technically it was only two, but whatever." Child Emperor explains before eye rolling at the punk hero's indignation.
"Good as new. You, on the other hand, will only get injured more, all while your stamina gradually decreases—"
"Shut up." Boros stops his monologue in slight surprise.
Saitama tilts his head back into a normal position and begins to face Boros, causing the alien's eye to widen and his grin to disappear. "Blah, blah, blah. Are you done? With this?" Saitama stares at the Dominator of the Universe with a look that brings even Boros' nerves to a halt.
Mosquito Girl and Armored Gorilla instantly shiver visibly to the point the three in front of them can hear it. "Damn these primal instincts." Mosquito Girl mutters dejectedly while grabbing onto her arm.
"Pfh. I don't blame you lady. Saitama's a monster in his own right!" Metal Bat responds with a grin plastered onto his face.
"Monster doesn't do him justice to be perfectly honest. It's a primal fear we feel when Saitama unleashes his blood lust." Armored Gorilla explains while wiping his brow nervously.
"What, you mean every time he glares he exudes bloodlust?" Zombie Man questions to which the two nod.
"I'd hate to see what his anger looks like. If he can even feel that." Child Emperor chuckles while shaking his head in disbelief.
"Well damn baldy. I didn't know you had it in you. You must've been really bored." Tatsumaki smirks while drawling out the "really" in her sentence.
"Heh. Yeah." Saitama scratches the back of his head.
"I know you're extremely strong, but how do you just casually deal with such a strong force?" Mumen Rider questions in incredulity.
"I guess I just got used to it." Saitama shrugs, not really knowing how to answer that. He'd always been dull to fights since he gained his power.
"If only I was strong enough to provide Master with an exciting battle." Genos clenches his fist. "I will get there one day, Sensei!" Genos firmly declares to himself.
Boros' body tenses as he poses once more before another pool of energy is released into the air. Saitama's cape flutters backwards from the air pressure.
The camera pans back over to Boros to reveal the new form. Boros takes on a white color with black streaks taking up his entire form. "Not yet! Meteoric Burst!"
Boros suddenly bursts forward, causing Saitama to become momentarily surprised before he gets punched in the face.
Shocked faces all around as for the first time in the entire viewing, they saw Saitama look genuinely surprised during a fight.
The latent energy from Boros' punch melts and liquifies more of the ship's exterior and interior, killing a large portion of the remaining alien crew.
Saitama flies backwards, but gets no rest, as Boros propels himself forward to deliver a flurry of omnidirectional punches.
Boros bursts forward and brings Saitama with him as he vaporizes parts of the ship just by being near it. Holes of melted slag appear all over with only a purple trail of energy left behind.
Boros grabs onto Saitama's cape and begins swinging him around like a toy in the middle of the air. The Dominator then lets him fly away before instantly catching up with him and delivering a two handed down smash, sending him plummeting toward the ship. Boros then speeds past Saitama's form once more and comes up from underneath the bald hero before delivering the strongest upward kick ever into Saitama's gut. Lightning and energy radiates the area around them as Boros finishes his attack, launching Saitama off of the ship and into the stratosphere.
Saitama lands on the Moon in less than 2 seconds flat.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAH!?" The crowd erupts into questioning screams of excitement and disbelief.
"YOU GOT SHOT INTO THE MOON?" Metal Bat yells out in sheer shock, his eyes turning comedically into saucers.
Child Emperor facepalms. "Of course he's been to the moon. Why wouldn't he have been to the moon." Child Emperor rambles dejectedly.
"I didn't think this fight could surprise me more, but I stand correct." Zombie Man says while scratching the back of his head. He's felt more surprise in a single day than he has in his entire life.
A realization dawned on the green haired esper's face. "W-wait… you weren't kidding about the moon thing." Tatsumaki mutters to which Saitama just gives her a small grin.
Tatsumaki sighs and runs her hand down her face. "That makes so much more sense."
"I can't believe you've been to space before! And survived!" Mumen Rider excitedly smacks Saitama on the shoulder like a friend celebrating a great achievement. Which for Saitama, was simply Tuesday.
"Incredible Master! Does this mean you are immune to radiation as well?" Genos exclaimed with vigor. His Master, the heroic anomaly that he was, just shrugged.
Saitama raises an eyebrow. He hadn't thought about it, but yeah there was radiation in space. So was he immune? Oh no. What if he grew a tumor or something?
A beautiful shot of the Earth with Saitama gazing at it from an upside down point of view is showcased.
"What a view." Darkshine mumbles in wonder. The sight of their planet from space was so beautiful.
"That would've been amazing to see in person… Minus the radiation." Tank Top Master responds in awe.
"It looks so calm in space." Puri Puri Prisoner adds on with his own astonishment.
"Looks fun." WatchDog Man thought to himself.
"It would be amazing to go to the moon like that…" King watches the screen, taking in every moment just like in one of those old movies he watched about space travel.
Saitama looks around for a few moments before coming to a realization and covering his nose to hold his breath. Saitama proceeds to hop up a little inside the large crater he found himself in and lifts a small piece of Moon rock and inspects it.
"Wait Master?" Genos questions.
"Huh? Yeah?" Saitama responds.
"Did you bring any moon rock with you? It is quite expensive and would have paid you a substantial amount." Genos replies while motioning with his hands in explanation.
Saitama just goes rigid in his chair. A singular tear begins dripping down his cheek with a deadpan expression. "Genos."
"Hai Sensei." Genos sweat drops.
"When we leave, remind me to go back to the moon." Saitama mumbles to which Genos simply nods.
Tatsumaki rolls her eyes while snickering. "You're so dramatic baldy."
"Genos, what exactly are moon rocks worth?" Fubuki questions in curiosity.
"The last moon rock sold for around 310,070,000 yen. It can go higher or lower depending on size and other factors." Genos quickly explains. Mumen Rider faints and slumps into his chair.
Fubuki's jaw drops and Tatsumaki's face takes on a similar look to Saitama's now even more downtrodden face.
"I'm coming with you baldy." Tatsumaki ironically mutters to which Saitama just nods somberly.
"Sis. Please bring me a piece." Fubuki prays with a hopeful face. She could really use that kind of money.
Saitama then nods his head in affirmation and tosses the rock. In an instant, Saitama crouches into a jumping pose and blasts off of the Moon, creating an even larger crater on the Moon's surface.
"I'm sure I would've fainted by now if I hadn't seen Saitama do this already." Child Emperor laughs emptily at the absurdity of the situation.
"It still doesn't take away from the fact that we literally watched a guy jump from the moon back down to the Earth." Metal Bat quietly mutters. His own disbelief quiets his mighty spirit.
"I think I'm out of surprise." Zombie Man groans, much like an actual zombie.
Bang's eyes widened. "How did Saitama-kun find the exact location of the ship? Was it a lucky guess? Or… did he actually see it from that far away?"
"He found the ship without trying at all. Does he have insane eyesight as well?" Atomic Samurai questions himself quietly in dismay.
Back on the ship Boros could be seen exhaling heavily. "The energy shunted from my body transforms into a propelling force, elevating speed and power to a level beyond the limitations… of living flesh! Doing this places enormous stress on my body, similar to anaerobic exercise." Boros stumbles slightly before catching himself. "As a result, it shortens my life. Therefore, it should only be used as a trump card for settling fights quickly."
A large explosion appears behind Boros as his thoughts are quickly cut off. The most serious face Saitama has showcased is revealed as he had jumped from the Moon back down to the Earth. The ship begins to fall and tilt.
"SO COOOOOL!" Both Tareo, Metal Bat, and Child Emperor yell out to various degrees of loudness. Many in the room grin at the bald hero's dramatic entrance.
"He's got a flair for stuff like this ey?" Blast chuckles. He liked dramatics as well after all.
Down below the heroes can be seen observing the ship's movements.
"It's listing!" Puri yells out in shock.
"You're doing it! Awesome, Tornado!" Darkshine praises the floating esper.
Tatsumaki blinks a few times before becoming slightly confused.
"Looking back at it… I can't believe I was right. It was something else…" Tatsumaki ponders to herself. She still thought about it occasionally before this viewing. She was so sure she hadn't done enough yet to actually bring the ship down. The answer was clearly in front of her now, literally.
"Man, I can't believe we thought it was Tornado when it was actually Saitama!" Child Emperor chuckles before he feels a cold glare directed his way, shutting him up.
"Yeah you know what. We definitely couldn't have taken the hero association." Mosquito Girl mutters under her breath. Even with Carnage Kabuto and subtracting Saitama from the fight this Tornado woman would've destroyed them.
"Well good thing you ain't evil anymore!" Metal Bat grins menacingly toward the two monsters who just sigh tiredly. Genus just smiles softly.
Back on the top of the ship Boros could be seen gazing at the ridiculous sight before him in pure shock.
Saitama slowly steps out of the crater he made by landing on the ship. "Oh. I made it." His cape tattered yet flowing in the wind, Saitama smiles.
Metal Bat's eyes widen. "I think this is the first time I've seen his costume take damage." Metal Bat mutters out in astonishment.
"Wait… you're right?" Child Emperor questioned in amazement. I mean, his gloves and suit never tore, so how was this even possible? Wait… how was his suit so strong?
Boros' singular eye narrows as blood vessels pop and tear, his expression contorting into a mix of surprise and anger. "This man…" Boros begins walking before going straight to sprinting and then disappearing in the blink of an eye. "Makes me want to go all out!"
Boros attacks Saitama from multiple angles as the bald hero makes no move to defend.
Instantly, Saitama's fist is thrown out and gut checks Boros in the middle of his attack. Blood spouts from the alien's eye and mouth as he is sent backwards at insane speeds.
Boros catches himself and looks back up to banter back at Saitama. "That's the way, Saitama. You are indeed worth defeating!" Until his look of elation disappears as a barrage of read fists, so fast, appears.
"Consecutive Normal Punches." Saitama, with one arm, completely obliterates Boros' form, leaving only a singular eye and his blood in the wake of his attack.
"Hoh. So you have your own attack names Saitama-kun?" Bang chuckles. He'd never really heard Saitama name his own attacks before as they were all just punches.
"I got a couple heh." Saitama scratches the back of his head with a slightly embarrassed expression. He'd wanted to be a hero since he was a kid after all.
Tatsumaki's interest slightly grew at that information. What kind of moves did Saitama have up his sleeve? How destructive were they?
"He completely grinded him up into paste…" Atomic Samurai starred in slight dread. He already knew Saitama could easily kill people, but this attack was far more gruesome than his previous simple punches.
Boros' eye turns black as all the blood comes back together to form his body, appearing to barely keep it together.
Boros' main eye and chest eye glow black and his body bursts forth with energy never seen before from the alien.
A brilliant yellow glow releases from Boros' body, contorting the air and metal around him. The energy liquifying what's left of the ruined ship. "I will defeat you! All my energy will be released, blasting you and this planet to Hell!"
All eyes widened at this. Boros was going to destroy the planet? He really looked like he intended on finishing everything here…
Saitama stands with a serious expression as he watches Boros prepare to unleash his attack. Debris flying everyone as Saitama stares up at Boros.
The light and air around Boros warps as the energy from Boros turns as bright as the sun itself. "COLLAPSING STAR, ROARING CANNON!" Boros unleashes the built up energy, shooting a beam of bright yellow and blue at the last bastion of humanity.
"HOLY SHIT!" Metal Bat's jaw drops along with a whole slew of others in the room.
"T-the energy from t-that blast…" Child Emperor stutters, his fear palpable, refusing to believe they all came that close to dying that day.
"That… is most unideal." Metal Knight states, he wasn't entirely sure just how badly the Earth would have been affected, but his bunker should've kept him safe. At least… he thought so?
Even Drive Knight's single red eye seemed to convey some level of primal terror.
Pig god had stopped eating with wide eyes staring at the large beam of energy coming at the screen.
"Well I definitely wouldn't have survived that…" Zombie Man deadpans while staring at the brilliant light.
Dr. Genus gazes into the blinding light with sheer astonishment. "So much energy, being condensed into a single attack… It's almost beautiful."
Bang in his many years of living had felt anger, pain, frustration, even fear. But this… this was a feeling he couldn't begin to describe. The meteor he had faced in full resignation to his fate could not even compare to Boros' attack. It was almost like a deeply ingrained primal response. He knew that this would have been the end if the attack hit. He knew it so surely within his very being. Bang looked over to his brother and Atomic Samurai who both looked to be thinking the exact same thing. As if their lives were flashing before their eyes despite not being in any danger.
The executives all watched the screen in growing horror and fear. They knew it was fine, they were alive and well, the heroes saved the day as always. Hell the attack on the screen wasn't even real, it was in the past. So why were they so afraid?
Tareo's gaze instantly turned from excited to mortified. How had the news not covered this attack? It was so bright it was basically blinding him. How did any of them survive? Not even Mr. Saitama seemed like he could take on such an attack…
On the other hand, Garou was stiff in his chair. He was a trained martial artist with countless victories under his belt. Fear wasn't what he felt, it's what he made others feel. So why the hell was he suddenly petrified?
"I… I would've lost." Tatsumaki stares wide eyed at her open palms. Her breath quickened slightly. She would've died. She could tell just by watching the stupid screen, the blast would've evaporated her strongest shield. She would've died and lost Fubuki.
The Hellish Blizzard could only watch in terror as the bright ray of death came closer at the Screen. She already knew they'd be fine. That they survived the ordeal most likely thanks to Saitama… So why was she so paralyzed with fear?
"Master…" Genos could only utter a single word. The sheer scale of the attack left him feeling insignificant as he along with Mumen Rider could only gaze into the light.
Suddenly words from the screen pull back the audience from their existential dread. Words from a person they never thought would make them feel this way. Make them feel… Safe. Protected. Alive.
"In that case, I'm using my final move too. Killer Move: Serious Series…" Saitama clenches his fist.
"Serious Punch." Saitama, in one quick movement, brings his fist to his hip then throws it forward. The punch rumbles the air and shakes the screen. The shockwave from Saitama's punch splits Boros' attack in two and hits Boros straight on.
The waves from both attacks send bursts of energy outward, spreading the atmosphere and dispersing into nothing. The attack from Boros is revealed to have split the clouds greatly, until Saitama's shockwave is revealed to have split the clouds across half the entire globe.
All over the Earth, Saitama's latent energy is felt by the ground, plants, and animals. They all shiver.
The room goes silent. Faces and jaws dropped to the floor at the sheer display of strength. The unavoidable, unsurvivable attack, gone. Just like that. Diverted and countered in a single move. Some shivered along with the planet, others felt their color drain from their faces. But none felt terror despite witnessing the strongest force they'd ever seen in their lives. They could only feel sheer unadulterated awe.
Blast takes off his shades while staring at the screen. He hadn't been that impressed in a long time.
A few moments of silence pass as no one utters a peep. Fearing that maybe something could go horribly wrong if they interrupted the moment.
"Uh guys?" Saitama turns to look at everyone with a goofy expression. "You good?"
With those words, everyone releases a breath of air they hadn't realized they had been holding.
"HOLY SHIT YOU PUNCHED IT!? YOU PUNCHED THAT HUGE FRICKIN BLAST!? THAT WAS-! WHAT KINDA WORD CAN I USE?" Metal Bat is the first to yell out his praise and amazement while turning to the young prodigy for more vocabulary.
Child Emperor turns to face the punk hero with a look of absolute confusion. "Oh I dunno? HOW ABOUT INSANE? FARCICAL? CRAZY? ABSURD? PREPOSTEROUS? IMPOSSIBLE? INCREDIBLE?" Child Emperor yells out. Never in his few years of living did he ever expect to be this amazed by a single man.
Zombie Man just chuckles while wiping his brow and rubbing his eyes. He wasn't even sure what to believe anymore.
Flashy Flash and Sonic just stared into random empty spaces. They couldn't even understand what they had just watched. It was beyond… everything. It made them both feel so much smaller.
"Your strength far exceeded my expectations, Caped Baldy." Metal Knight states in an undefinable tone.
"I can't believe I didn't faint." Mosquito Girl mumbles while leaning backwards into her chair. "I think I'm done with this…" The bug monster tiredly thinks, holding her hand against her head.
"I think I did faint for a second but somehow woke up." Armored Gorilla mutters while scratching the back of his head in confusion. Either that or his mind actively tried to forget what he just witnessed.
Dr. Genus just stares at the bald hero. What an enigma. Human yet so far from it. Emotionless, yet capable of feeling so much more than possible. A pure anomaly in existence itself. Yet he was still happy he met the man and lost to him.
The Terrible Tornado sits stilled in her seat. For once in her life, quieted by someone else's power. Amazed, to say the least, by someone else's strength. "How?" Tatsumaki questioned Saitama, almost too quietly that it slightly unnerved the bald hero.
"Uh… I just punched harder." Saitama answers back while poking the esper in the head, he wasn't too sure why she was so stunned to the point it kind of worried him slightly. He'd never seen Tats act like this before even after they scuffled a little. He had actually thought her reaction would go more along the lines of "Oh? That's it? Pfh I can do so much better!" but he had been surprisingly wrong.
Tatsumaki looks up at Saitama, finally coming out of her tranquil state with a small grin. "You're insane, you know that you baldy?"
Saitama gives a small nod, finally seeing Tats coming back to normal. "Ouch. You hurt my feelings." Saitama answers back with a neutral expression and an eyeroll.
Saitama turns to his stunned disciple. "Oi, Genos you good?" Saitama pokes the inactive Genos in the cheek, to which the cyborg stares at his Master.
"S… Sensei." Genos mumbles while holding his hand to his head. The punch his Master had used was nothing, compared to the punch he used against him in the practice bout at the canyon. Just how much strength hid under his incredible teacher.
"How… did you… how did you stand against such an oppressing force?" Genos questioned, knowing full well Saitama was different from them, yet still wanting an answer from the unfazed hero.
A small grin finds its way onto the bald hero's face. "Because if I didn't, then we wouldn't have an Earth to enjoy. I know I have no right saying this since I don't feel much, but here's your next lesson." Saitama responds to which Genos immediately goes back to normal and pulls out his notebook. Tatsumaki, Fubuki, and Mumen Rider perk up in interest. Bang also leaning in to listen, having overheard Saitama.
"If you can picture the thing you're protecting instead of what you're facing in front of you… then you can fight any threat that appears with full confidence." Saitama states while pointing his finger at Genos in a matter of factly way. Saitama then looks down at his closed fist before turning back to the others with a slightly somber expression. "Sure you may not always win…" Saitama then smiles. "But you can know that with that you'll fight the hardest you'll ever fight and be content that you tried."
"After all, that's how I trained for the past 3 years." Saitama grins while scratching the back of his head as the eyes of all 5 of the people listening widen by a large margin. For how goofy Saitama seemed to be at times, he could be surprisingly… profound.
Bang blinks a few times while listening intently to Saitama's words and smiling. "Saitama-kun… you are truly a hero among heroes."
Garou from a few chairs away overhears Saitama and flinches. He couldn't imagine facing Saitama anymore. Not just because of his overwhelming strength… but his ideals as a hero stood out too much from his original depictions. It seems he'd just have to skip Saitama on his hunting list…
Boros' decayed body appears, his once brilliant form, now lost in color and stature.
"Did I…lose?" Boros questions in a slightly befuddled tone.
"Holy crap he's still alive? Damn the bugger is persistent." Metal Bat mutters out in surprise and a tiny bit of admiration.
"That is some resilience for sure." Zombie Man adds on in his own bit of shock.
Saitama turns back around to look at the corpse. "You're still conscious? You really are strong."
"The prophecy held true. The battle was…hard-fought." Boros states, though he sounds unsure of his own words.
"Yeah. It sure was." Saitama affirms.
Queue heartfelt Ost.
"You lie." Boros contently chuckles. "You had strength to spare. I never stood a chance. It wasn't even a battle."
"HAH? YOU WERE HOLDING BACK?" Metal Bat yells out with a strained voice. His vocal chords were getting tired from randomly screaming.
Child Emperor hits the shinji pose while groaning. Zombie Man just pats the young genius on the back sympathetically.
Saitama just shrugs awkwardly, what was he supposed to say? No?
"Unbelievable. Even after all of that he's stronger?" Fubuki mutters as her eyes widen in disbelief.
Mumen Rider chuckles at the sheer ludicrousy of the entire episode. He was friends with a goofball that could destroy a planet.
Boros laughs. "So much for prophecies… You were too strong…" Boros' body begins to lose all color. Ironically, the light shines the brightest on Boros' decaying body as the ship begins to fall.
"Saitama…"
The victor walks away, heading forwarded into the veiled darkness, as his opponent succumbs to his injuries. Had he truly won?
With that, the heart of the ship shatters, recognizing its master's fulfilled wish, and having no need to continue existing.
On that day, a great warrior died… and another warrior continued his restless path.
Boros was no more.
In spite of the alien conquer destroying all of City A the heroes couldn't help but feel the somber tone. Saitama's plight was made ever more clear by the one-sided battle's outcome.
"We must absolutely log every feat and achievement Saitama has accomplished and reward him with his due." The bearded worker says while turning to Stitch who just nods.
"Of course. How could we not after all that we've seen?" Stitch chuckles in a dejected manner. They had given credit to the wrong people while the true hero was left alone and unrewarded. If Saitama had not stayed on the path of a hero they would only have themselves to blame.
THE STRONGEST HERO
The ship begins to fall onto the Earth's surface and the remnants of City A.
"It's crashing?" Tatsumaki questions in disbelief.
"Is this Master's doing?" Genos watches in bewilderment while also having concern for his Sensei.
"Ope. That's what it looked like? Oops." Saitama muttered in surprise. Maybe he should've tried to lessen the damage of the falling ship.
"You have no reason to apologize, Master. No one was injured and you saved the world." Genos informs his Master.
"Yeah I think you did more than enough haha." Mumen Rider chuckles while Saitama just sighs in relief.
Tatsumaki just rolls her eyes while huffing. "There wouldn't have been a point anyways, the city is already busted."
Inside the ship.
"We're done! The power sphere's been broken!"
"We're going down!"
"Lord Boros went wild!"
"Get out, get out!"
"Run!"
"Stop shoving, stupid!"
The artillery alien cries more. "I wanna go home, Mommy!"
"It's coming down." Iaian stutters out in fear.
"Huh?" Metal Bat stupidly questions, like he didn't see the massive frickin shipping falling on top of them. "Hey, we better get outta here...!"
Metal Bat covers his face in slight embarrassment. Had he really said such an obvious thing? "Ignore that."
Child Emperor snickers while Zombie Man just smiles, amused by the bat wielding hero's embarrassment.
"Why did they not leave previously? I'm still confused about that." Armored Gorilla wonders to himself.
"This is bad. Run for the Association HQ." Bang says in a total unconcerned manner.
The group begin to run while Atomic Samurai goes over to his injured disciple and lifts him up before following his fellow heroes.
"Iai! Hold on to me!"
"I'm okay, Master!"
Bang takes the lead as Metal Bat and Puri follow closely behind.
"Damn. How'd Silverfang get so fast?" Atomic Samurai questions while chuckling.
Bang smiles annoyingly at Atomic Samurai who just sighs.
"Now's not the time to be competitive." Iaian retorts to his teacher in concern.
"Angel Dash!" Puri yells out while running.
Metal Bat waves his bat around. "Hey pansy, don't you run in front of me! You're too slow!"
"Angel Dash!" Puri Puri ignores Bad.
"Don't just say it, move!" Metal Bat yells out in a comical manner.
"You weren't gonna save them?" Saitama questions with a raised eyebrow to the short esper.
"Pfh. I would've intervened if necessary baldy. Seriously, who do you think I am?" Tatsumaki responds with reluctance to which Saitama just nods.
"We're gonna crash!" The aliens yell out in fear as the ship finally finishes its descent.
Genos and Darkshine are seen guarding against the large wind gust sent by the ship's fall.
"It's down." Genos mutters awe.
"All right, let's go." Darkshine nods as the two walk forward.
A certain Class A rank 1 hero arrives a little late onto the scene.
A large portion of the heroes scowl at the man.
"Ugh. I hate that guy." Metal Bat grunts while picturing himself smashing his skull open.
"What happened?" Zombie Man questioned the two seething heroes with confusion.
"He basically berated us for not doing more." Child Emperor replies with an annoyed sigh.
"Did… did he not see any of what happened?" Mosquito Girl questioned in bewilderment.
"According to the prick, we didn't do enough and should've been faster." Metal Bat mocks the blue haired hero's tone of voice.
"How did City A end up like this?" The blue haired hero questions in distaste.
HANDSOME KAMEN AMAI MASK CLASS A RANK 1
"All of Class S was meeting today…" Amai Mask finds the heroes and begins to walk towards them.
"Care to explain, Metal Bat?" Amai Mask questions in a not so flattering tone.
"Huh?"
"Explain it so I can understand."
"Handsome Kamen Amai Mask… Where the hell'd you pop up from?" Metal Bat questions while glaring at the hero.
"Uh who is that again?" Saitama questions Genos who is about to answer before getting cut off by Tatsumaki.
"He's a self centered prick that has this ideal for heroes and goes around enforcing it." Tatsumaki scowls while explaining. Genos simply nods along to the short espers' words.
"We also encountered him previously at the noodle shop, Master." Genos adds on with a neutral expression.
"Ah. That guy." Saitama nods, finally remembering the encounter with the hero.
"I was filming a TV drama in the next town. There was a roar and tremors, so I came and found City A wiped out." Amai Mask explains.
"Monsters on a huge-ass ship attacked us. They fired artillery at us and did all this. But we took care of it." Metal Bat retorts.
A completely crazed look envelopes the blue haired hero. "Took care of it, you say? You call this victory? Such incompetence. I'm completely appalled at all of you!"
"You see what I mean?" Tatsumaki questions with a raised eyebrow.
Saitama gives a small nod. "A little."
The heroes just look at him with neutral expressions.
"Hey. You didn't even get here in time, so don't go acting all big." Metal Bat coldly mutters.
"It's true I didn't make it in time, but you all were right here. You didn't save a single brick!"
Atomic Samurai slowly walks toward Amai. "We were having a meeting inside the headquarters building. We went outside as soon as the enemy attacked, but the city was already in ruins."
"So what? You think if you tell them that, the media will just let all this go?"
"You… Whose side are you on? We did our best." Puri Puri questions in a sharp tone.
"I'm on the side of justice. Having Class S heroes this pathetic… is an embarrassment. Anybody this useless should voluntarily retire." Amai Mask jumps down to the hero's level.
"Yeah, if I'm going after anyone first it's that guy." Garou glares at the hero with intense distaste.
Metal Bat punk walks toward the irritating hero. "Hey! Don't start talking crap with us!
The young bat hero gets up in Amai's face with an angered glare. "Who's gonna care about a pop idol with a face busted all to Hell?!"
Amai Mask returns the glare in full force. "Do you have any idea why I don't move up to Class S? I remain Class A, Rank 1 so I can prevent weak, good-for-nothing pissants like you from moving up to Class S."
The veins on Metal Bat's face pop out as he seethes in barely contained rage.
The same was currently occurring with the Metal Bat in the theater. He was just about ready to pop someone's head open. "That fuckin prick is so annoying."
Suddenly a metallic pod falls out of the sky. As the door slides open a Metal Knight robot activates and walks out.
"Metal Knight, you skip the meeting and only show up now?" Amai Mask questions, but promptly gets ignored.
"This is… magnificent." The Metal Knight drone walks over to the shipwreck and seems to analyze it until Genos appears from over a rock, standing above the robot.
"Metal Knight! What are you doing here? The battle is already done." Genos questions as a flashback of Drive Knight warning him plays on the screen and over Genos' words.
"Genos, right?" The robot responds.
"Do not tell me you have come to recover the spaceship. Are you here… so you can create more powerful weapons with the alien technology?" Genos asks with a wary tone.
Saitama leans over to Genos to whisper. "Oi. You actually worried about that robot guy?"
Genos seems to muse over Saitama's questions before nodding. "I believe Drive Knight's warning was not without reason, Master."
Saitama just gives him an ok symbol before turning back to the screen to watch.
"Precisely. Powerful weapons are a necessity for the sake of peace." With that, the robot drone heads toward the ship's exterior, most likely to examine its properties.
"Even with powerful weapons, in the hands of heroes like this, they'd be wasted." Amai Mask smugly declares in the presence of said heroes.
"You're mine later, pretty boy. You better watch your ass." Metal Bat menacingly threatens the unfazed model.
"Pfh. You look hilarious." Zombie Man chuckles while smacking Metal Bat in the back, much to his chagrin.
"Yeah, like his head's gonna pop!" Child Emperor snickers.
"Hey! I found some alien survivors!" Darkshine calls out to the group from afar. Amai Mask begins heading toward the discovered aliens.
"I thought Lord Boros never lost. Are we going to be killed?"
"Maybe we can talk our way out of this."
"Aggh, I'm so hungry!"
"Idiot! Now's not the time for— Shh! Someone's coming."
Much to the surprise of the other heroes, Amai Mask swiftly executes the aliens with quick strikes.
Saitama's eyes widen briefly, but he quickly returns to his normal expression.
"Amai Mask! What the—?"
"They did not deserve to live. They were evil.I swiftly implemented justice, that's all. I'm sure you understand, Genos… You've been busy since the exam. But from what I saw of the Deep Sea King incident and today, you've mostly been a disappointment." Amai Mask shrugs off Genos and walks away as Genos just stares at him.
The bald hero glances over to his disciple, but notices that he doesn't seem that upset or angry at all.
Bang walks over to the cyborg. "Best leave it."
Genos shakes his head. "Do not worry. I am fine. He reminds me of how I was before I met Master. A man on edge… too eager to eliminate evil. Just like me, he must have gone through something terrible in his past."
"I don't think you're nearly as bad as Sweet Mask to be perfectly honest, Genos." Fubuki says while scowling at the screen.
"I annoyingly have to agree." Tatsumaki mutters while still remembering her past experience with the blue haired hero. She had almost tore him apart right then and there for the audacity to reprimand her like some kid. It pissed her off.
Genos' eyes suddenly go wide. "Wait! Where is Master Saitama?"
"He was worried? Oh yeah he came running after I broke out of the ship. I guess I should tell him before jumping off." Saitama thinks, sweat dropping, while noting to not just up and leave anymore since he has a student now.
Tatsumaki can be seen floating around the ship, simply observing, until suddenly a large crashing noise is heard and the exterior of the ship bulges outward.
"Ugh I remember this. You know it's rude to ignore your elders baldy." Tatsumaki mutters coldly to which Saitama gives an apprehensive glance.
"Uhh. Sorry?" Saitama mumbles to the glaring esper who relents and sighs. "Accepted you egghead. Not like I can be mad that you saved everyone."
"What did you even do?" Mumen Rider whispers to the slightly wary Saitama.
"I forgot." Saitama deadpans while whispering as quietly as possible.
Saitama, in his damaged suit, walks out in surprise. "Oh, I'm out!"
Tatsumaki's eyes widen as she flies over to the bald hero in confusion. "Hey! Why would a Class B like you be inside the ship?"
"Master!" The two turn to see Genos running over in concern.
"You are safe!"
Saitama smiles. "Hey, Genos! We're done here. Let's go."
"Did you defeat their leader?" Genos questions, as they begin to walk away from the destroyed ship.
"Yeah, he was really strong. Maybe the strongest I've faced." Saitama admits while motioning with his hands on how the fight went.
"I see. So without you, Master, the prophecy… about the earth's destruction-"
"They're ignoring me!?" Tatsumaki wonders in absolute disbelief.
A few snicker at this since before Saitama came around no one dared to ignore the temperamental esper.
"-would have come true."
Saitama shakes his head. "Nah. Turns out you can't trust prophecies to begin with."
"Hold it right there! I don't know how you did it, but you went in the ship on your own? You're just a Class B. How dare you butt in like that? I didn't need you. I could have handled it on my own!"
Tatsumaki drags her hand down her face. "Good lord, I wish I didn't say that."
Fubuki raises an eyebrow in confusion before just ignoring it.
The two heroes just watch as the small esper goes on a rant.
"Baldy! Octopus! Boiled egg! Light bulb! Avocado!"
"G-Genos." Saitama nudges his disciple with a deadpan expression.
"Lame face! Goblin! Bug! Baldy!"
"Say something."
"Pfh. You sent the cyborg to do your dirty work?" Metal Bat laughs out loud at the two just watching Tornado tear them a new one.
Bang just shakes his head solemnly. "Saitama-kun. Sending Genos to the hungry dogs. How shameful."
"Tch." Tornado just sneers at the two, though she can't really bring herself to say anything because she realized they were right.
"Ping-pong ball! Rice grain! Beanhead!"
"Yes, sir." Genos sighs deeply before gaining a straight face.
"Kettle! Baldy! Kneecap!"
"You came up with all of that one the spot?" Fubuki questioned under her breath in surprise.
"Shut up…" Tatsumaki was now becoming embarrassed. The more she watched, the more she realized how childish she appeared.
"Listen, spoiled brat. Shut up and get lost, or get beat down." Genos poses while delivering his retort.
"That's it! Yeah!" Saitama cheers his student on with a happy face.
Lots of laughs were heard throughout the theater from the sheer hilariousness of the entire scenario.
Genos then proceeds to get slammed into a wall and stays there.
"Unforgivable. Me, a brat? I'm older than you!" Tatsumaki mutters in a cold tone.
"I'm still shocked by that to be honest." Saitama mutters just loudly enough for the short esper to hear and causes the others to wince.
"Hah!? What's that supposed to mean?" Tatsumaki questions while glaring at the bald hero.
"N-nothing…" Saitama sweat drops while waving his hand in dismissal.
Saitama worriedly looks over to his buddy. "Genos?!"
"You're next, Class B!" Tatsumaki states with malicious intent.
"Poor Mr. Genos." Tareo sweat drops while looking at the giant Genos sized hole in the rubble.
"Talk about temperament jeez." Garou mutters while scratching the back of his head.
"Cut it out, Tornado." Bang cuts in out of nowhere. You're part of the Association— a hero, right?"
Tatsumaki's eyes widened briefly before she hmphs and flies off into the sky. "Whatever."
"At least she respects SIlver Fang-sama." Genos mutters in his head while staring at his busted body in the wall.
"Why are there so many troublemakers amongst the elite heroes?" Bang sighs, exasperatedly.
"Oi! Bang!" Tatsumaki yells in pure shock.
"I meant nothing by it, Tatsumaki-chan." Bang says fully serious, before breaking out into a smile.
Tatsumaki just sighs exasperatedly and covers her face.
Saitama walks over to the Genos shaped hole in the rubble. "Wah. Genos… Your joints are all bent the wrong way. Here, I'll fix you up." Saitama promptly pulls Genos' arm off. "Oh sorry, your arm came off!"
"Wow you somehow made it funnier." Metal Bat chuckles while rubbing his head. He was getting a migraine from how much he yelled.
"That cannot be good for Genos." Zombie Man sweat drops while watching Genos seem to fall apart.
"My back is killing me." Bang complains as he walks over to the duo to help out.
"City A was wiped off the map that day. The arrival of aliens and City A's annihilation were history-making events, the top stories for days. But eventually the coverage died down and no one mentioned the city that had disappeared." The screen pans to a family uniting under the watch of Mumen Rider, Stinger, Lightning Max, and the bearded worker.
A numerous number of Metal Knight drones could be seen working at the metallic exterior of Boros' ship. "Metal Knight salvaged the spaceship. Soon thereafter, the Hero Association headquarters was reconstructed all the stronger, and became an impenetrable fortress of steel. The infrastructure was rebuilt with new roads leading out of HQ. Heroes were able to deploy quickly to every city. And heroes Class A and above were given the option to live at headquarters."
The finished product of Metal Knight's work is showcased in its full glory. A memorial for those who died can be seen with a copious amount of flowers littering the base.
Saitama's eyes widened. "That's how large the building is?" The bald hero's jaw drops in absolute shock. Some pride fills Metal Knight though he makes it impossible to notice.
"Yeah the apartments are nice I have to admit." Tatsumaki answers while watching the screen. She remembers first flying over the new City A. It was quite massive.
Queue ED (Pretend this hasn't played at all during any of the previous episodes)
"Hoh. This music is quite calming." Bang mutters while closing his eyes and listening intently.
"Yeah, it's kind of jarring after what we just watched to be honest." Atomic Samurai replies while scratching his cheek.
"This is my kind of music." Armored Gorilla contently hums while leaning back into his seat.
"I do have to admit it's nice." Mosquito Girl nods in agreement.
"Eh. I like the pumped up music. I gotta get a copy of that for workouts." Metal Bat grins while still listening to the music intently.
Zombie Man just appears to fall asleep sitting up in his chair.
The music ends as the screen swaps back to a familiar bald hero's apartment.
"You can see it clearly! The entire building has been ripped out down to the foundations. The monster appeared in City Z, but now City Y is in—" Saitama's T.V can be heard broadcasting the news of another monster attack.
PLUTON, KING OF THE UNDERWORLD
THREAT LEVEL: DRAGON
A giant pig monster lays waste to the entire land. "You humans waste your existence in gluttony, littering the earth with worthless objects. Now shall you boil and rot in the depths of the underworld that spreads below my mighty snout!"
"Oh I remember that. Yeah we could not catch a break." Metal Bat mutters.
"I'm guessing Saitama took care of it too?" Child Emperor questions aloud rhetorically. At this point, if they didn't know who defeated a monster, they could probably just chalk it up to it being killed by Saitama.
"I was so disappointed." Saitama dejectedly mumbles to which Tatsumaki raises an eyebrow.
"Huh?" The short tempered esper questions in confusion.
"You'll see…" Saitama waves her off much to her annoyance.
A crying child could be seen in the rubble of a building as the giant pig monster approaches.
In the blink of an eye, a blur grabs the child and moves them away from the imminent danger.
Genos could be seen holding onto the child with a new set of arms.
"Nice save Genos-kun." Bomb praised the cyborg who just nodded in appreciation.
"I am assuming this is your current set of arms?" Drive Knight questions in interest.
Genos nods. "I currently have two pairs. One for housework and the other for battle." The cyborg responds with absolutely no shame.
A couple of people laugh as Saitama just covers his face in embarrassment while sighing.
"Who do we have here?" The monster questions.
Genos smiles. "A great man who is a hero for fun… and profit."
Saitama softly smiles before groaning slightly in resignation at the last part. His disciple sure had him down to a T.
"A great man?" The pig monster questions in befuddlement.
The pig monster takes notice of a flying object when suddenly, its head explodes, as it is revealed to the theater that Saitama had flown in and taken its head off.
Genos turns around to watch his Master float down. The guts of the monster painting the rubble and neighboring cities. "And…his disciple."
The child Genos' had saved watches in awe.
Saitama slowly loses his serious look and gazes at his smoking fist in dismay. "Back to one punch again… GOD DAMN IT!"
The screen finally dims, ending off the first season of the bald hero's journey.
"Oh so that's why heh." Tatsumaki snickers, amused at the bald hero's perpetual inability to fight even with someone.
"Haha. So funny." Saitama responds sarcastically, when suddenly, the door on the side of the theater blasts open to reveal… Blast.
The theater goes silent as mouths once again drop to the floor.
"BLAST!?" The heroes shout out in pure shock and disbelief.
