Chapter 247 - Merchant chapter 232

Salem watched on without any indication she cared about the grievous wounds I had just casually inflicted on one of her people.

"Is that also magic from your world?" she asked without skipping a beat.

"No, this is haki. A powerset from a different world that works by expression ones willpower and spirit onto reality. What I just used was the advanced application of the color of arms, or simply armament haki." I explained honestly.

"How interesting. How many powersets do you have if I may ask?" she asked curiously.

"Eight. My worlds magic, haki, the one piece physique, my devil fruit, white magic, black magic, summoning and while technically not part of me yet Ozma's magic." I said frankly.

"White magic, black magic? Is there a reason they are listed separately?" she asked deeply interested.

"Of course. The world they come from has three magical routes that each specialize in very specific things. White magic is healing and buffs. Black magic is destruction and debuffs. And summoning is exactly as the name describes though the process is rather important. The first two use similar routes to achieve what they do but in two very separate directions. Summoning alone is unique in how it functions as it's nothing like the other two." I explained as I swatted Tyrian's seagull self away and sat in his seat.

She ended up asking me a bunch of other questions after that. The usual stuff about the different worlds I had at my finger tips, the different powersets I had all of that. In the end she did still choose to go to my world and take my suggestion to take my worlds magic as well as the payment for her copy of her magic ability. -

Purifying her was an interesting process as she didn't just instantly go from corrupted to normal human. Rather it was like the corruption surged from her body and down the arm I was holding before compressing into a single pitch black ability stone.

{Item name: Grimm royal Physique

Class: Ability

Value: 500,000 system coins

Description: A mutated physique born of a divine curse of immortality meeting the divine pools of annihilation that birthed all Grimm. The holder of this physique is takes the form of a person but is in truth barely different from any other Grimm. Allows the holder to cease aging and command Grimm as their ruler. Comes with all the downsides of being a Grimm including violent urges, deadening of all positive emotions and amplification of all negative ones.}

The only thing that didn't return to the state it had before her corruption was her hair that retained it's silver-white color. I admit that I was tempted to grab her immortality while I was there too but chose not to since she did still want it so she could fully experience my world. I did also warn her that she'd need to learn how to use my type of magic from scratch but that I'd help her with that.-

I end up having to stash everyone in the castle into my inventory however as the moment she was purified all of her authority over the endless swarm of Grimm outside the castle vanished. I purposefully left Tyrian though after transfiguring him back to normal, mostly because I just didn't like him very much. Salem was ever the spiteful ex however and she convinced me to take her to Vale to show off her purified state to Ozpin but leave before he could actually say anything.-

Admittedly not being corrupted anymore meant she mellowed out a LOT but some grudges are just that deep. To be fair the guy did betray her in what had to be one of the worst ways. In fact I was fairly certain she probably would have been MORE okay if he betrayed her in a normal way by getting a side chick or something like that. I mean it would have made sense right? Forever really is a LONG time and maybe he gets bored with the same flavor and wants something new.-

But instead he went for the single stupidest and most painful betrayals he could have. Honestly right up there with the thing Griffith pulled with the band of the hawk in Guts world. Nasty business to say the least. Still once that little bit of showboating was done I grabbed a few dozen more aura copies thanks to Salem knowing where some easy criminal targets were and left Remnant. I ended up only staying there for barely twelve hours total. A waste of coins since I bought a month of time that was, apparently, nonrefundable.-

Still if nothing else the coins would give Ruby a good headstart on her own side of things. Once she gets out from under her fathers thumb at least. Returning back to my world so late left me in the awkward position where I had nowhere to stay for the moment. I could only elementalize and shoot across the sky westward to cross several borders and the english channel itself to show up in London before letting Salem out of my inventory.

"This is London. We'll be checking into this pub here that serves as the entry into the magical side of things. Tomorrow i'll show you around Diagon alley to get you settled in and started on your learning. With your intelligence and experience though you should pick up this worlds magic in little time." I explained.
