Just as the three sect were in panic over the Demon Tree, the Demon Beast that had single-handedly destroyed the vast Tang Country was moving toward the Seven Seas.
Similar to what happened at the Seven Seas, everywhere the Demon Beast went was shrouded in gray mist. Any creature caught in this mist had their life force drained by the Demon Beast, leading many to flee in advance upon learning of its approach.
Even so, many people and demon beasts died along the Demon Beast's path, causing panic among the inhabitants of the Nine Countries as grave as that in the Seven Seas.
As for why the Demon Beast was heading toward the Seven Seas, few bothered to consider it; everyone was struggling just to survive, focusing only on self-preservation.
High in the sky, the umbrella bearer watched coldly as the Demon Beast headed for the Seven Seas, not taking action to stop it.
