This sword, named Bamboo Shadow, ranked thirteenth on the famous swords list announced by the Sealing Sword Pavilion of yesteryear.
Though ranked at thirteenth, almost all of the top ten swords of that edition were ancient swords. Bamboo Shadow, not being an ancient sword, could only be relegated to the thirteenth, but even compared to the top eight or nine, Bamboo Shadow would not be the least inferior.
Nangong Shoujian cherished Bamboo Shadow greatly and rarely used this famous sword, often relying on other longswords in battles.
