In a small room.
A dim light bulb, emitting weak illumination.
"Sigh, I was in such a rush coming out. I seem to have forgotten to close the door, and you didn't remind me." Mrs. Chen sat on the edge of the bed, hugging Chen Xingyue, and sighed, complaining to Father Chen.
The room resembles a student dormitory. Inside, there are only four beds, a small table, and a tiny bathroom, with nothing else. Though the place is simple, it's much better than most people having to sit on the floor in the hallways or corridors.
"Given the current situation, you still care about that. Who would steal anything anyway?" Chen Dawei chuckled bitterly from the side.
"I was just finding a topic to talk about. What's there to do other than let my mind wander?" Mrs. Chen glanced at the uninteresting Chen Dawei: "I'm not as carefree as you are, acting like nothing is happening."
Am I acting like nothing is happening?
I'm merely holding up.
Chen Dawei helplessly touched his belly.
