Sylvan Cheney grabbed her little hand, pressing his forehead against Little Clementine's forehead: "Do you want to eat it? Shall I peel it for you?"
His voice was exceptionally gentle, with a magnetism.
Little Clementine happily waved her little hands.
Sylvan Cheney unwrapped the lollipop, the strawberry-flavored lollipop emitting a fresh scent.
Little Clementine watched eagerly, very pleased, immediately opened her mouth to lick it.
Sylvan Cheney brought the lollipop closer to her lips, letting her take a gentle bite.
Little Clementine tried to bite the lollipop, but Sylvan Cheney didn't allow it, only letting her taste it briefly before taking it away.
Little Clementine reached out her little hand to try and snatch it from Sylvan Cheney, but how could she win against him? Frustrated, she scratched her head in exasperation.
"Alright, just a taste is enough; too much sugar and you won't grow teeth." Sylvan Cheney coaxed patiently.
