Jasmine Yale smiled at her and greeted her briefly.
She had only met the housekeeping lady once or twice, and they were not familiar with each other, nor had they spoken before.
This was a middle-aged woman in her forties, and her face was not particularly friendly.
The housekeeping lady stopped and looked at Jasmine Yale, "Miss Yale, are you here to get your things?"
"Yes, I'm here to get my own things."
"Make sure you only take your own things and don't touch Mr. Cheney's." The housekeeping lady stopped at the door and looked at Jasmine Yale's suitcase, frowning. She didn't think there were many of Jasmine Yale's things here.
Jasmine Yale smiled awkwardly, "Of course I'm only taking my own things. I won't touch Mr. Cheney's things, you can rest assured."
"Can I check the suitcase? I'm afraid if something goes missing and Mr. Cheney can't find it when he returns, he might think I took it."
