Before Butler Santana could finish speaking, the call was hastily hung up on the other end.
"Butler Santana, was it Yukon?" Jasmine Yale tilted her head and asked.
"Yes, it was Mr. Carbon, he's back in Cakago."
"I'm fine, let's not disturb him. He works hard too, and coming back isn't easy for him."
"I didn't even finish speaking before Mr. Carbon hung up. However, Miss Yale, it's good that Mr. Carbon is here. He is very attentive and can take you out for a walk."
Jasmine didn't refute, only looked dejectedly out the window.
It seemed that nothing could lift her spirits.
Yukon Carbon arrived at the hospital in just twenty minutes.
As soon as he entered, he saw Jasmine Yale sitting by the window with her back to him, her silhouette fragile and delicate.
"Jasmine!" Yukon ran over anxiously, "What happened? Are you feeling unwell?"
He half-knelt, holding Jasmine's hand, his face tired and full of concern in his eyes.
