Jasmine Yale wore a sapphire blue sweater, her long, jet-black hair cascading over her shoulders.
She squatted on the grass, her small hands continuously stroking Riceball's fluffy head. Riceball occasionally bumped its head against Jasmine, making her burst into giggles.
"Alright, enough playing around. Jasy's heading out now." Jasmine patted it gently, "Be good and eat your food."
Riceball, sensible as ever, circled around her.
At that moment, Sylvan Cheney drove by close to the edge of the grass.
He rolled down the window. "Get in."
"Coming!" Jasmine ran over and opened the passenger side door.
The weather was warming up, and Sylvan only wore a dark gray sweater, making him seem approachable.
He was wearing sunglasses, but his gaze behind the lenses never left Jasmine's face.
"Alright," Jasmine fastened her seatbelt, "We can drive now."
Sylvan nodded, stepping on the gas.
