Lu Hualiang looked up at the sound.
Facing her lovestruck gaze, his smile grew wider.
He was immensely grateful to the Empress Mother for bestowing him with such good looks!
"Pretty, isn't it?" Lu Hualiang teased.
Xia Weibao snapped back to reality, realizing what she'd just done, her face flushed red.
"I wasn't peeking at you."
Uh...
It seemed a bit like a guilty conscience speaking.
Annoyed, she ruffled her damp hair and looked down at her shoes, feeling truly awkward.
Lu Hualiang stood up, leading her to the vanity, then took a towel and a hairdryer to dry her hair.
Feeling his gentle touch, Xia Weibao was a little embarrassed, "I can do it myself."
"Don't move."
"You're His Majesty..."
"So what? Didn't I help dry your hair before outside the palace?"
"But back then I didn't know you were His Majesty."
"Is there a difference?" Lu Hualiang suddenly bent down and gently kissed her hair.
