"Mom, did I ever have a nanny growing up?" Charmaine asked as she started eating her food. They were having dinner at her parent's place and she just suddenly remembered about that. It was just casual asking but she watched as Aya froze before turning to James with nervous look. She glanced at her mother's trembling hands seemingly unable to hold the utensils properly anymore. She then retracted her hands, hiding them under the table.
'What was that?' she asked herself. Such big reaction... "Are you alright Mom? Did I say something wrong?"
Aya awkwardly smiled. "It's nothing. Why did you ask?"
"It's not that important. I was just curious. I've been having weird dreams lately, and Leo said something about a nanny."
Aya's complexion became much paler, her lips pressed tightly. "What....did you dream about?" she probed.
Just snippets of things I can't understand. That's why I'm asking you. It's perplexing." she replied.
