"Where have you been?" Charmaine asked when she saw Laura heading upstairs around eleven in the morning. She looked very tired. What was she doing all night?
"I'm really not in the mood for a chat.." Laura replied. She didn't stop and just proceeded to go upstairs but Charmaine still followed her up to her room. She watched her toss herself in bed like a lifeless doll.
"Want to hear some gossip?" Charmaine asked. She sat beside Laura in bed and looked at the motionless woman who was lying on her stomach.
"What is it?" Laura mumbled but didn't turn to Charmaine. She was uninterested in anything right now. She felt like having a mental breakdown.
"Adele won't be going home anymore. Leo allowed her to stay." she announced.
Laura quickly lifted her head. "What's that? Are you kidding me?",she exclaimed. She wanted to throw the woman out of the house so much!
