I tried asking if he was truly one of the Holy Warriors, but he didn't answer. He just kept walking in silence. Maybe he still didn't trust me. I gave up pressing him, hoping this misunderstanding would clear up once I reunited with my owner, Aliss.
As we walked through the city, talk of the bronze knight defeating two Cavernsnares spread like wildfire. Every time we passed townsfolk, they pointed at him, whispering about what he had done.
"I wonder... is he one of the Twelve Holy Warriors? Could he be...?"
That thought struck me, and I realized something—I had never checked his stats before. Curiosity hit me hard, so I decided to take a look. Maybe it would reveal the truth. When I saw them, I froze. I had never once seen someone above level 50.

But something was completely off. All his stats were listed as zero. Even his name was just Bronze Knight. That made no sense—no one at level 79 could have all zeros. And yet, that's all I could see.
I rechecked again and again. The result never changed. It felt wrong. Too strange. Then it hit me—he had to be one of the Twelve. It was the only explanation. Somehow, they had a way to block my appraisal.
My doubts vanished. I was convinced now: this knight was one of the Twelve Holy Warriors.
I was so wrapped up in these thoughts I didn't even notice we had already arrived at Aliss's estate. We stood before the gates, where the knight addressed the guards.
"State your business here, sir?" one of them asked.
"I'm here to meet with Miss Aliss Steenswis," the bronze knight replied. The guard looked at him strangely, then his expression shifted.
"Wait—you... you're the bronze knight!" His face lit up in awe.
"I am indeed," the knight admitted.
"Thank goodness! Sir Allen will be most pleased." The guard cut him off before he could say more, practically glowing with excitement.
We were ushered inside the mansion and led through its halls. My spirit swelled—I would soon be reunited with my owner.
"Please wait here for a moment. I'll inform Sir Allen of your arrival," the guard said before hurrying off.
A few minutes later, he returned with Aliss's father. The man immediately greeted the bronze knight warmly, and the knight returned the courtesy before asking to see Miss Aliss herself.
At the mention of her name, Aliss's father's face turned somber.
"Is something the matter?" the knight asked carefully.
"Would you do me a favor?"
