This is an original work of mine and something I have planned for a long time and now I have gathered the confidence that I needed in order to finally write this. - XIXI Pain... That was the only thing Xiao Fan could feel as she layed emotionless on the hard concrete, she could feel the warmth that her blood provides as they gush out of the back of her head. "Tch. Its your fault for getting in the way! It would've been Li Min Yue if you didn't request her to suddenly go back!" A voice coated with unwavering anger suddenly sounded out from above her and when she looked up she saw none other than Nui Ci Ling. Before she could even reply back she heard a shout just as she took her last breath. "Fan'er!" [ Collecting data....] [1%......25%........49%......80%] [100%... initiating transfer.... recovering damages....] [RESTORATION COMPLETE] . .. ... .. . [ Hello host... I am a system who recovered your broken soul and tied it with me in order to not break into fragments ]
Xiao Fan had to massage her aching head as if she had just recovered from a hit in the head. Yet when she realized what the monotonous voice said she recalled what had happened.
[ Would host want an explanation of her life in the last world? Initiating transfer of knowledge ]
And like a wave of water, new information rushed into her head and before long she opened her eyes and shock was seen clearly. Based on the knowledge she was what you can call as a Cannon Fodder or more commonly known as a steppingstone for an event in the world story. She was Qi Xiao Fan and her life was pretty normal to be honest.
She had normal grades and normal achievements, no friends and an everyday normal life. The only exciting part of her life was every break time where she would be able to spend time with the exclusive circle. No it wasn't the circle she always lived to see, she didn't care of those pompous third generation rich kids who only knows how to spend money.
The one she always loved to see was her best friend. None other than the Female Lead of the story, Li Min Yue. Who was a pampered daughter of the number one lawyer and the hottest star of the entertainment world. She lived a busy world, juggling her study, modeling and free time all together. Which is why the only time they could spend together are the days she didn't have any work or the time where their schedules do not interlap.
Min Yue weren't like any other girls who loved to fit in. Not like those girls who would abandon their original friends for popularity and to fit in. She was always pretty simple. Once she said you are her friend then no matter what happens you will remain as her friend.
Xiao Fan now realize why she was always criticized by the people, simply because she was plain. Although Min Yue always exclaimed that she was pretty and she just needed a little bit of more polishing to shine as brightly as everyone else. But she never payed heed with the biased comments of her best friend. Min Yue was pretty pitiful, after all she was a victim of bullying when they where in grade school and it was Xiao Fan who protected her and which is also why they ended up becoming friends.
Unbeknownst to Xiao Fan the system also had access to her mind and as a result it had also attained the information of the world. And it was an information that was way more clearer than the one it was provided. Afterall the given information was just the basics. It was originally planning on getting Xiao Fan to reincarnate and take the Female Lead's halo in order to take revenge. Yet after knowing how the Female Lead had no massive impurities and how kind she is to the host, it silently changed professions.
And from a Stealing Halo and Counterattacks System it became a Fulfilling Wishes for a Wish System. Which was a more dymatic system and a lot more harder to do than the originally already harder program. [ Host can go through worlds and gather enough energy to be able to go back to her world ]
The system said in a monotonous voice, it didn't show how it was actually sad with how the host met her demise and specially when she met her demise. Xiao Fan ever the simple minded one recalled how Yue'er invited her out for a fancy girl date to celebrate their 10 years of friendship.
The stubborn girl didn't want to leave her alone but she (XF) insisted because she knew how Li Jun was acting like an abandoned puppy when Yue'er decided to ditch him in order to spend time with her. She used the excuse of wanting strawberry shake on the go and it was enough to get the girl to rush inside.
And Xiao Fan knew that Li Jun understood what she did as she received a grateful smile from the male. That was right, Min Li Jun was the male lead of the world and also Yue'er lover for 3 years now. And by that time he had learned to reluctantly share his beloved with Xiao Fan. Who in turn would sometimes persuade Yue'er to spend even atleast one of her rarely free times with her lover instead of her.
"Is this the classic transmigration system?" Xiao Fan couldn't help but ask as she recalled those novels that suddenly became a BOOM in their world.
[ Host is right! We are a transmigration system that aims to collect energy in order to fuel the world into existing. And a way to do that is through the nullification of the bad energies that is causing problems with the worlds existence, hosts are a way of dealing with this things efficiently. We are somewhat like parasites that lives inside the hosts but the relationship is beneficial for both parties. While we assist the host and gather the needed energies, the hosts in return collect the energy and when finally reaching the quota can wish for anything they like as payment for all the hardships they've suffered. ]
Xiao Fan felt at ease at the system's explanation and after thinking for a while and along the way accepting the truth that she died in the hands of someone harboring ill intentions for Yue'er she didn't feel anger that the main cause of her death was her friendship with the Female Lead. Instead she was worried on how her little Yue'er would accept such outcomes. "Say... if I collected enough energy I'll be able to come back and save Yue'er right? That girl should be worrying like crazy by now..."
[ What Host said is true. But in order to have a better backing before going through the missions, the host shall undergo the training needed before passing the trial test. This trial test ensures the system and the higher ups that said Host is now qualified to undertake the missions. ]
And so Xiao Fan found herself studying multiple subjects in the vast nothingness without any clue that thousands of years had already passed.
[ Host is now qualified to undertake the first and unofficial mission. Are you ready? ]
"Yes I am Ying, please give me the needed information." Xiao Fan asked as she inwardly sighed at the fact that her system never expressed or even said anything except its monotonous voice. The said system was busy preparing everything to pay attention to his host but even if he did knew what his host was thinking about, the only response he'll give is that this was the personality he was gifted.
[ Initiating transfer... Host might feel a headache and sleepiness but please be at ease as it is just a side effect from the Transmigration. ]
And with that Xiao Fan fell asleep.
