The night gradually descended, and the bright moon shyly revealed its face from behind the clouds, with its gentle moonlight filling the entire room.
Huo Yi came in a few times in between to help her change the coffee.
Chi Enen had been on a call for two hours straight and finally ended it.
She leaned back exhausted in the swivel chair, took off her headset, picked up the coffee that Huo Yi had brought in, and took a sip.
The coffee was still warm, just right to drink.
The warm coffee eased her stomach, and Chi Enen finally felt a bit more comfortable. She estimated the overseas time and sent Li Beijue a text message.
[Still busy?]
Three minutes passed after the message was sent, and there was no response from his side.
Chi Enen couldn't wait any longer and wanted to take a bath, so she sent another message.
[Li Beijue, are you very busy? How about I don't call you tonight, and I'll call you after you're done, tomorrow morning?]
