Chi Enen felt a sudden jolt in her heart; she had already guessed who it was.
Her face showed no expression as she asked, "Who is it?"
The female police officer, like a cat smelling fish, her eyes lit up again, and her tone unconsciously became more forceful, "It's your company's Deputy Minister of Quality Inspection. He didn't come to work today. Didn't you know, Miss Chi?"
"Should I have known?"
"You are the company's representative. Shouldn't you know about such things?" the female police officer countered.
Chi Enen calmly said, "You've already said I'm the company's representative. The company is so large, with more than two hundred employees. As the representative, should I know every single person, who came to work and who didn't?"
"But that's not just any employee!" the female police officer retorted.
