"Another night of hard work, what does it mean by blood qi? Is something in my blood?" Quill said jokingly as he turned his focus inward towards his veins and began to monitor the blood flow.

"Huh, I guess there's a reason it's called blood qi." Quill said as he watched the tiny molted of blue flow through his veins along with his blood.

"Looks like I have sat around long enough, time to go work on the village." Quill said as he noticed the sun peaking through the holes in his hut.

"Let's finish the elders hut and then we can begin building them for the rest of the village!" Quill announced to the villagers who were just arriving near the hut they were constructing for the elders.

"Remember to pack the gaps with mud to seal it, I'm going to grab some people to begin building on the huts for everyone else." Quill said to the group as he selected a couple of decently strong men to drag some of the logs to a clear space close to the elders hut.

"These are going to be smaller than the elders but are going to be just as protective." Quill said as they started construction.

"I'm going to scout out the woods for anything useful. Follow through with the same as we did we the elders." Quill directed one of the older men as he headed towards the woods.

Quill headed past the fields and saw the villagers tending to the crops and carrying the harvest towards the storage area Quill had them construct first.

"Chief!!" One of the young farmers called out to Quill.

"Hello there, how's the crops coming?" Quill asked as he checked up on them before he continued on with his exploration.

"Everything is doing great sir. Another cycle and we will have the stores full. We might need to expand the stores if we keep growing at this rate." Replied the farmer.

"Talk with Auryon, have them either expand it or build another. I'm currently looking around for anything of note that would stop us from expanding the village." Quill said as he watched the farmer return to his crops.

Quill began his walk in the forest as he took note of the vegetation and animals that called it home.

"Since when do the children play this far into the forest." Quill chuckled to himself as he crouched down to get a better view of the childlike footprints in the mud below him.

"What's with all these gouges in the ground?" Quill asked aloud confused by all the cuts and holes in the ground that were too much for children to do.

"The fuck!" Quill screamed as he was struck by an arrow to the knee.

"Raaaaaarrrrrrr" A group a green creatures roared as they rushed Quill after he was struck by the arrow. The creatures were about half the size of a grown man, skin that looked like a melted candle and was the tone of rotten meat. They carried crude weapons, mainly sharpened sticks. A few carried spears made with rock flake tips.

"Are those fucking goblins?!?!" Quill screamed as he grabbed a small stone and threw it at the closest one as he ran back ti the village as quickly as he could with an arrow in his calf.

"Get away from the forests!!" Quill screamed at the farmers as he headed past the fields.

"Grab all of the bows, there's goblins headed this way!" Quill yelled out to the villagers that had gathered around.

"Quill, we don't have many arrows and only a handful of bows. Can you use your magic on them?" Auryon said as she approached Quill and tried to calm him down.

"Quill are you okay???" Elder Gwen asked as she was the first one to spot the arrow sticking out of Quills calf.

"I'll live, I think." Quill said as he sat down on one of the logs from the construction project that was ongoing in the village.

"One, two, fuck it." Quill said as he yelped and removed the arrow from his calf.

"Holly shit that hurt, wait is that supposed to close up that quick?!?!" Quill asked as the puncture from the arrow had already quit bleeding and had begun healing at a speed that was able to be seen.

"Amazing, your just full of miracles aren't you Quill?" Auryon asked as she kneeled and watched his leg heal up.

"Is there anything we can do about the Goblins?" Quill asked as he stood and tested his newly healed leg.

"The only choices we would have would be to either send our strongest villagers and hope they can take out the Goblins or you confront them with your magic and kill them." Auryon said as she looked to Quill hoping that he could protect the village.

"Get everyone to the Elders house, I'll go take care of the Goblins." Quill said as he walked past the villagers towards the fields where the Goblins were running through the waste piles that were meant to be used as fertilizer.

"Let's see how this goes, hopefully I don't die standing here looking like a moron." Quill said to himself as he pointed his palm towards the largest group and concentrated on the mana that was running through his veins and imagined it gathering into a ball just outside his palm.

"Woah, it's actually working." Quill said as he stared at the mesmerizing blue sphere the size of a baseball.

"Ignite!" Quill screamed as me imagined the mana turning into flames.

"Die!" Quill yelled as he threw the flaming ball at the group.

The flaming sphere exploded in the center of the group and exploded in a ten meter radius, instantly killing the goblins in the center and setting the ones that survived completely on fire.

"I did it, holly shit it worked." Quill said absentmindedly as he watched the goblins roll around the fields attempting to put out the fire.

"Wrrrrrrea" The goblins that weren't caught in the blast screamed as the charged towards Quill.

"Die!" Quill screamed as he threw fireball after fireball until there wasn't any goblins remaining.

"I did it." Quill said as he dropped to his knees in exhaustion and stared at the charred field that was covered in dead goblin bodies, not all of them intact.
