As the battle progressed, Shin and Arthur stopped 'juggling' Leonard in the air. Instead, they used their respective controls over the Ice Elemental Mana to conjure blocks of ice in the air, which the latter used as platforms to jump from one place to another.
With these ice platforms, he was able to move around much more easily, gaining a lot more options when attacking Ashura and dodging the latter's attacks.
Even if Shin and Arthur needed to split some of their focus to maintain these ice blocks in the air, it was not much of a problem for them since they could just randomly leave them wherever they wanted.
It was much easier than constantly catching and tossing Leonard around.
On the flip side, this action made it harder for Ashura to keep the three in check, especially when Leonard had gained some more freedom in the air and a variety of options for attacks.
