The manager nodded. Since the head chef would bear the entire burden of the cooking, it was indeed best to let him hear the absurd request directly from the customer's mouth. He immediately summoned a waiter waiting outside the room and instructed him to hurry to the kitchen and fetch the head chef posthaste.
Fifteen minutes later, the head chef finally wiped his hands and stepped into the room. The manager gestured for him to take a seat beside him before breaking the news.
"Why on earth are you dragging me out of the kitchen in the middle of the lunch rush?" The head chef complained with a deep frown.
He had been drowning in orders, so he was naturally agitated about being pulled away from his stoves.
"This esteemed customer wants to place a massive bulk order, and every single dish needs to be fully prepared and packed by tomorrow morning." The manager explained.
"What?! I don't get it. Explain it properly!" The head chef stared at him, looking even more utterly bewildered.
