Bai Xifeng and Yao Huifang arrived at Si Tang's mother's courtyard. The place was quiet, almost too quiet, as if no one dared to disturb the peace there.
"Young Madam, your guests are here." The maid announced softly before hurrying inside.
A minute later, Si Tang came out personally. There were faint dark circles under her eyes, proof that she had not been resting well.
"Welcome, Huifang, Young Lady Bai." Si Tang greeted them politely, though worry could still be seen on her face.
"Let's check on your mother first," Bai Xifeng said directly.
She did not like wasting time. The sooner she finished here, the sooner she could explore the city and taste its famous cuisine.
"Yes, come in, Young Lady Bai." Si Tang nodded quickly.
I'll wait here with my daughter," Yao Huifang said with a gentle smile.
"Hmm..." Si Tang responded before leading Bai Xifeng inside.
