Yang removes the head of Cao Cao and moves toward Yun as he offers the head to him. Yun looks at his son before looking at the hundred men kneeling behind him.
"Since when did you build this force?" asks Yun coldly as his eyes contain killing intent.
Yun was ready to kill them as his spears were aimed at them. Those hundred men were stronger than Zhang He and Dian Wei and they were the strongest in his army not counting Hua, Wei Yan, Lu Bu, and Gan Ning.
A hundred of those men could bring a disaster to the world that Yun was trying to keep in balance for a reason. If one side has too much power, it could lead to misguided ideas, such as ruling over an empire from the shadows.
"Over the years of training with them. I need such a force if I want to enter the Murim later on," says Yang still holding Cao Cao's head in his hands.
"I hope that you don't get the wrong ideas," says Yun coldly as his spears rain down killing half of them.
"This is the price for keeping this a secret," says Yun coldly as his spears dissolve.
The men were nervous since Yun killed fifty of them easily when they heard, "You killed Cao Cao so the head and the glory will be yours."
Yun opened his palms and his greatswords as well as his spear returned to him. The greatsword still had corpses on it, which Yun removed by pressing his foot against the first corpse near the handle and pulling the sword out while keeping his foot down.
He then walked away, lifting his sword and signaling to Huang Zhong that they had won. Huang Zhong shot into the air to celebrate their win, making some of the men flinch again.
Yun ordered to take the men who are wounded as prisoners as well as the men who stayed behind while leaving those who ran away alone.
They didn't need to kill more people than needed as they would need them to rebuild what they would destroy in the near future. Yun continued walking slowly but firmly with Dian Wei and Zhang He by his side.
They looked at him worriedly, as both knew Yun was about to collapse. Yun passed Xiahou Dun and Xu Huang ignoring them completely as they were chained while being treated.
Thunder arrived before Yun but Yun just ignored him while walking past him while Thunder cried into the sky followed by Shadow seeing everything from the sky.
"One fight," whispers Yun to himself as he continues walking toward Xiaopei, "Give me strength for one last battle at Castle Wan."
He continued walking ignoring the world since he was seeing only darkness at the moment. He finally arrived at the Gate of Xiaopei and entered the city still walking hanging on.
He knew that if he fell everything would go down the drain. The war might end and Cao Pi would regroup the remaining force to defend his territory.
'Was the armor always this heavy?' thinks Yun as Pang Tong stands before him saying something which he couldn't hear.
Pang Tong looked confused at Yun who had just passed him when Dian Wei put his hand on Pang Tong's shoulder. Pang Tong looks at Dian Wei who shakes his head as if telling him that right now isn't the time to talk.
Yun suddenly stops using his spear to hold himself up as he says, "One more battle, I need to fight at least one more battle."
"You have done enough," says the person standing before him.
"No, I need to take down Guan Yu myself to prove that I am the God of War of this Empire," says Yun who seems to talk to himself for the others as they couldn't see the person he was talking to.
"Your body will collapse soon and you will return to my husband's realm," says Lorena as she steps out of the shadows only for Yun to see her.
"No, not yet, I still need to fight him," says Yun as if he is possessed by this.
"And as said before, you will collapse before you step on that battlefield," says Lorena feeling pity for Yun.
"There is no other way to help my son-in-law and daughter end as Emperor and Empress. I need to cripple Liu Bei by taking Guan Yu from him," says Yun furiously as he can feel his body crumbling with every second that passes.
"There is a way but you wouldn't take that path since you would sentence another person to die for you just so you could live another six months," says Lorena reminding Yun how he expanded Lin's lifespan.
"There is another way," says a voice coming from behind Lorena.
Yun looks at Shura walking toward him while Yun asks, "Which way?"
"Your body will turn to ash and nothing will remain of you for your family to mourn after. But if you don't win against Guan Yu in this battle you won't continue your journey but serve in the Warrior's Realm for eternity," says Shura as he stretches his hand out for Yun to take it.
Yun smirks as he lets go of his sword and takes Shura's hand. He could feel his body full of energy again.
"Once your Qi runs out you will turn to dust. It should be enough to keep you alive for six months if you don't use it recklessly," says Shura with a smirk before letting go of Yun.
"You should learn some more cultivation techniques once you are done here. Even I learned more than the Ultimate Warrior Cultivation Art which my Master taught me. But more about this after you defeat Guan Yu," says Shura as he pats Yun's back.
"We will see each other soon again," says Shura while fading into light while Lorena fades into shadows.
Yun then turns around and they could see life returning to his eyes when they hear "Saddle the horses! We are riding for Wan Castle for one last battle!"
"Yes, my Lord," says Dian Wei with tears in his eyes knowing that it would be Yun's last battle which would cement his legacy and the future of this Empire.
"We will never see a man like him again in this lifetime," says Huang Zhong seeing Yun's smirk.
"Huang Zhong," says Yun making Huang Zhong step forward holding the rifle in his hands offering it to Yun.
"You did well," says Yun as he takes the rifle from him.
He burns the rifle using a bit of his Fire Qi before putting his hand over Huang Zhong's head to remove the memories of how to use a rifle.
"This knowledge should rest with me when the time comes," says Yun as he feels his life slipping away.
"One last battlefield that I will enter and one last battle I have to fight. Will you all join me on my last ride?" asks Yun looking at them.
"We would die for you," says the group at the same time.
"Then let us ride to Wan Castle and defeat Guan Yu," says Yun as he turns around and picks up his sword.
The days passed as reports rained in about the strategy working with the other armies taking city after city while Yun marches with his army of five thousand men toward Wan Castle ignoring everything else.
Xuchang was being besieged by Hua at the moment while news arrived that Lu Bu ventured further North trying to reclaim the Yan Province.
News traveled fast and Sun Quan as well as his army began to move faster to catch up with Hua to help him take Xuchang taking all the cities on his way raising his banner on their walls.
Yun on the other hand was a week away from reaching Wan Castle and the news was that Guan Yu was still besieging Wan Castle with Cao Ren defending it.
"So our objective is Wan Castle or Guan Yu?" asks Tang Shi looking at Yun.
"Guan Yu," says Yun as he looks at Pang Tong and says, "Wan Castle will fall with or without my help. Cao Ren will surrender when he hears that everything is over."
"Will he? I think he will fight only more fiercely after hearing what happened to his cousin," says Pang Tong seriously not believing that Cao Ren would surrender that easily.
"That we will see once the fight is over," says Yun hoping that Cao Ren will see reason and surrender to stay alive.
The week passed quickly as Yun could see Guan Yu's army in the distance. He could estimate around fifty thousand men sieging Wan Castle. Most are slightly injured from sieging Wan Castle for so long and the morale on both sides seems to be low in Yun's eyes.
"The morale is at the lowest it will ever be," says Pang Tong while their troops are at their highest at the moment after defeating the main force of Cao Cao.
"My bones still have a fight in them," says Huang Zhong in his armor holding his glaive ready to attack Guan Yu's army from behind.
"Then let us ride into this last battle, my friends. Shall this moment be remembered in history as will be our names. Ride and gain glory for your family name. Let us show our Ancestors that we are worthy of carrying their name!" shouts Yun to his men as he raises his spear and points it at the army before Wan Castle.
"Charge!" shouts Yun riding on Thunder followed by Dian Wei and Zhang He by his side.
Guan Yu was looking at Wan Castle when a commanding officer reaches him and says, "An army is approaching from the Northeast."
"Which banner is it hissing?" asks Guan Yu seriously as he didn't need Cao Cao's army attack them from behind.
"It is General Zhao's banner," says the officer as Guan Yu smiles not knowing what would happen soon.
"Reinforcements are always welcome," says Guan Yu not knowing that an enemy was approaching his rear at a fast pace.
