Rune Save stuck Kagetaro's body on the boulder, and because of the effect of Rune Save plus the physical pressure from Kotarou that cracked all the bones in Kagetaro's body. The shadow user Kagetaro was defeated and couldn't move at all.

Rakan knew that Kotarou was running out of energy, so he let Kotarou lie on the ground and then he walked towards Negi who had finished reciting the spell.
Rakan smiles when he sees Negi, because he knows that Negi has finished chanting and finally he can have fun with Negi.
"Duplex Complexio!" Negi shouted who was ready to have the final duel against Rakan.
