System: USer has changed the World greatly due to his actions. Updating and generating new missions and possibilities. Rewards are calculating...
Azul and Jane looked at each other surprised. A sense of urgency formed between the two.
"Time to go!" Azul yelled. "For now, I need everyone in fighting shape. Ready to go."
Looking at him pouting, Jane got her people ready. As she walked away, Williams gave Azul's crew a look then the Protheans a once over. Next, Bass returned. He found a big storage file and had it secured. Something underneath the surface was dangerous and alive. But in hibernation. AzuI had no idea what it was. No time to speculate either. Slipp had a special cocktail ready for him. In case something happened with his team. Just something for Rayna, if anything happens based on what she knew about Quarian bodies. The special medi-gel will bring her to full health in a matter of moments. 30 minutes later and the Vorcha were good. Rayna was ready right after.
Tiffany was meditating and waiting for her next orders. Shun kept looking at her weirdly. Then at Azul weirdly. Kasumi fixed up his armor from the few damages she noticed. Piece by piece she removed the segments. While Azul was going over the possible changes he told Rayna about the injector he had on him based on former Quarian data by Slipp.
She still only wanted him as the doctor. She helped Kasumi fix the armor as they started spitballing ideas on an escape method. Rayna re-equipped a side wrist guard forcibly. According to the biotic strand, she was quite.. cross with him. Also disappointed, Azul was to be her Doctor in her mind. She was scared to trust others. Trust Slipp due to the fact she betrayed them last time. But she was indoctrinated last time. She resisted as best she could from what he knew.
A quick message to her and everything was good there. The only other biotic strand that was a problem was from Hotshot. She was awake and waiting for the fighting to start. Her Ardat-Yakshi blood pushing her to fight. And since Azul survived the meld, it wanted him again. But much stroner. She wanted to see him stronger. Right now, they believed he had the strength of a damn pyjack. It was disgraceful. His abilities just read anger coming off of her. Her future-past memories conflicting with the current her.
"Ok tell me what is the problem now?" Azul walked over and formed a link once the others finished with his armor.
Devil: These conversations.. are starting to wear on me. Always explaining, always compromising. Hehehe I am kidding. I know what it takes to get what we want. More power this way that we can earn but the others are waking up.
Dragon: They wish to test you. They are fools. They can nott ake me.
Then the voices in the background could be heard again. They were the smal ache in the back of his mind.
'Kill them! They will betray you!'
With a grunt, Azul dismissed the thoughts. "Hmph, spit it out." More anger in his voice than he wanted.
"Nothing my Commander." Hotshot had a slight smile creeping on her face.
"Just tell me."
"You know I would die for you? You allowed a part of you to die for us. We are at your disposal master."Hotshot tucked her head down and kept double-checking with her omni-tool. She made sure everything worked to specs. "I was just partially joking." She hoped up and gave him a hug and a grin. "Just trying you to loosen up a little. That and to give you fuel for what comes next. Something is happening inside of you. I felt it in the meld. I cand help eat away. The rest of my sisters will enjoy feeding on it to weaken it. Or you can make troops to sarifice to it."
"I.. know you will need to eat souls. Just not at that point where I would just sacrifice my people for it." Hotshot nodded agreeing. "I will make sure that is cured and soon."
"That is good. Glad my haste did not change you. I could barely contain the need to meld with you. I think something inside you is calling to me. I felt it Tactics but it was not this strong. The stronger I get, the more aware of you I become." Hotshot looked depp into Azul's eyes. "Your eyes turned pink and red in biotic energy when we Melded. Your biotics were powerful As well as your magic."
"If I was a better commander it would be better. We would not be here like this." It sounded like self-loathing but it was all he can think about. He was reminded again how easy it was in the game. If his time in the military in my real life taught him anything. Was that he was not the best. Far from it. A dozen more like him in wait. Azul shook it away and destroyed the emotions easily. It was nonsense after all he achieved before. He smiled as he felt the biotic strands come off Hotshot. Like him, she destroyed the feelings as well. "Thanks for the assist."
"You are young Warmaster," Tiffany said as she moved in from behind. She felt stronger and more sure of herself as she moved. "In time you will grow in strength. You just need more wars. Humans are counting you. As well as Xenos…. That is the word for her yes?" Azul and Hotshot nodded at her.
"Did she just call you Warmaster?" Hotshot pulling Azul tighter. She was a little confused. "You are defintely not a master of that in any way. But we can get you there."
"Tch are you giving up already?" Tiffany looked and felt a little upset. Azul thought she had an issue with some of her hypno conditioning. If it was not human it was an enemy. That is how the basics of it worked anyway. "Why are you silent?"
"No! Dammit... Just give me a minute ok…" Something was bothering him. Then he remembered. He had been stockpiling points, they are useless if he is dead from changing so much stuff down here. 'Zelda how much points should I use on this mission?'
Zelda: You are currently in a safe zone, so as much as you want. Nothing is preventing you from using your points. However, if you enter a story event or combat zone.... it will immediately end in a few moments of combat starting.
'Ok. Use my points to fix my mind from any outside influence. I was healed in all ways before arriving in the past. That was the agreement. IF there is an issue, it had have popped up after. I don't know what it is but I feel mentally weaker for some reason. Also, I keep second-guessing myself. It's gotten worse as the days have passed. Way worse than last time.
Zelda: I will run a scan of your body and check the store for you. The deeper check we did before is waiting for the Administration to send us a report. Processing please wait….
Azul started to meditate. That turned out to be a bad idea. His psyche was bombarded with the fears I felt earlier as well as the death screams of the Protheans in the pods. Their psycho echoes resonated in the place creating a psychic nexus. Hotshot was helping as she devoured the energies. Tiffany placed her hand on him assisting as well.
Zelda: Deploying Auxiliary Field.
Outside of Azul's body, raw biotic energy cascaded around. A few powers had been lying in wait for the chance. All the energy was devoured in a moment by it. A thick biotic barrier formed outside of them. Tifa stepped back amazed. She was instantly enthralled by the power. If it wasnt for the unique training she was made to endure, it would have been disastrous for her future. She calmed her self instantly and smirked. Rayna walked over and they started to talk.
'So powerful but not enough. Please become stronger. Dragons and Overlord's need all different kinds of strength. The mind is the most important.' Kasumi walked away to help teach and treat the Vorcha. Shun was left to guard them. The others had no idea what was going on. Well, Jane's crew did. Just not the Protheans and a few Vorcha.
Tifa and Rayna talked as they were going through the weapons and cannibalizing them to suit her needs. With their respected fields of learning, it was a cinch. Slipp just adjusted her weapons and armor. The geth kept watch. Watching the Protheans and a few of the civilians. If any tried anything stupid she would kill them. No hesitation on her part. The geth would rip them to shreds as well.
Back within Azul's psyche.
All the different impressions that entered were ground away by his Power. The strands went slowly bolstering his mental powers. Hotshot and Tiffany doing what they could as well.
'Hello me. So weak so fragile.. so pathetic.' A copy of his own voice played back to him. Jeering at him. Taunting at him.
"So you are the reason for all of this .. why?" Azul had to ask. "You are not my Dragon or my Devil power. No way are you my magic. What the hell are you!?"
Before him was ... well him but eyes blazing red. Dressed in military gear. To the side, another him was dressed as a doctor. Small fluctuations of green biotic energy rolled off. Another was behind them. Blue eyes radiating as its face kept twisting about. It reminded Azul of the different Mardi Gras masks from back home.
"Bwoom" a rift open and Dyshana appeared. She waved her hand and they were all blasted away. Three more Azul's had walked out and she did it again. Her magic glowed and a wall went up sealing a part of his mind away.
"I will not them have their way with you. Lying little creatures." Dyshana smiled and disappeared. "Do not worry. Lluvia is working on expediting what is going on. The Administration is busy with what is going to deal with Indigo and his faction."
"Oooh, who are you?" Around Hotshot, another Asari formed. Its eyes were pitch black. "You are the one.. the one who will kill us." Her teeth looked sharp like a shark as her mouth open unhinged.
"Sigh.. Mental Cleansing." The blast of power hit her causing her to drop to the ground. "I am not going to kill you, idiot." Azul walked over and picked her up by the neck. He walked her over to Hotshot who came to from absorbing the excess energy Azul had gathered. "Curing you so that she does not kill anyone. Well, you do not kill anyone. I could get rid of you easily by ripping you out of her. I will not, however. I am not going to harm her. Treatment will take care of your sterilization issue allow you to not have a ticking time bomb in your own mind."
"You lie! I feel it from you. Aurora may be foolish to trust you but I do not!" The personification of the Ardat-Yakshi tried to hit Azul but couldnt. Not inside were he had control. "You will lock us away when you fail. The same happened to my sisters!"
"Bah, nonsense." Azul said as he shook her. Turning to Hotshot he sent her what he did to solve the problem. He also sent it to Tiffany. But from what he could tell, he fely Alita presence helping her. It should be easy since she had only been to one other place. "All yours Aurora."
"Why would you do this? We have been working so hard to get a cure for our people. Surely you could see the benefits?" She stared down looking at her counterpart. "What will it take for us to end this stupidity?"
"To end this stupidy?! I do not wish to cease to exist. If you want this to end. We could become whole again. All of the different fragments of our mind and emotions. The different us all fused into one. Instead of this.' The Ardat Yakshi moved her hands around the area. Azul helped as he felt it was to much for her to do alone. "This is what was taken from us when Indingo's forces almost killed us. To close to death to be healed. Even by what the System would allow."
In the are were different versions of Hotshot. When they arrived back in time, her soul was damaged and shot off from Azul. The same as when he originally came the first time. Only problem, her soul was not as powerful as his. To busy suppressing the Ardat-Yakshi tendencies. A version from each world she went to.
Final Fantasy X a Ronso, Warhammer 30k-40k a Tau while Azul was in limbo, Another in Lin Kuei garb from Mortal Kombat an unreadable race from what could be seen. Also when Azul was in limbo. 6 others so faded they look to be disappearing.
"You have resisted us. I have spent a long time talking to the others. We are not meant to be separated. Not like this. We were forced without the Systems protection." She looked at Azul. Her eyes were full of cunning and anger. She despised him. Azul and Hotshot could tell. "Unlike you, we did not resist each other though. I am all that's left that can speak. You kept me out. They suffered."
"Tch. Not my fault. I had no idea. All I knew was you were breaking... going crazy as usual I might add. I never know when you were just wanting to have fun and have to go do something stupid." Aurora stared hard and conjured a mental gun. The others looked at her shocked. "I have been through a lot more than any of you fragments. No wonder I did not want to go back To Riku's world. We had it bad there in the end." She stared at the Ronso in anger. "If you do not want to cease to exist. Do not resist me. Do not cause me trouble. Get in here where you belong!" She started to gather strength.
'I am not resisting you fool. I am giving myself, willing. I am you unrestrained and you're paranoia among other things. After this, there will be no pain in your head.' They turned and smirked at Azul. "We hope you do not send us away in the future. The other you, we could see you accepting us. But the current you has bolstered the mental abilities and made us stronger earlier. So maybe you will not turn us away. We will see in time Patriarch."
"What else are you. Tell me... I have to know. Wait did you call him Patriarch?!" Hotshot yelled before she glowed in raw power. It dissipates from her strong control instantly. "So much crap to go through. I know how you felt when you fractured even more now." She turned to look at Azul. Her eyes radiated in biotic energy. "A little reminder, my Patriarch." She smirked. "Your cruelty.. that is what you will need to survive. You believe Paragon means acting goody. Listen a little more to older Jaina. It is ok to cut loose. I still feel you are going to pop soon. Lash out. I will be there when it is over still."
"Thank you," Azul said with a slight nod. It was comforting to know he was not the only one going through a lot since coming back. Hotshot had to come or she would have died. Someone, who knows what happen from lack of power was right by his side. Gripping his hands tightly he released just as fast to grab her. "Mmm," he gave her a kiss. Nothing to big or the like just a small kiss. "Time to finish this long-ass mission, My Matriarch."
Hotshot nodded. Tiffany walked over and they left Azul's psyche. A few statue glowing in the background. Statues Azul knew first hand. The Eldar Gods had watched and start forming another plan once again.
Zelda: A High Pull finished while you were occupied. Also used just 2035 points for a duplicate to be made. After she arrived. The information has been given to Tifa who informed your ally had made through from the back tunnels they used. She will be arriving in 2 minutes.
System: Wisdom Check 24 Pass Intelligence Check 32 Pass
Reaper Node: Companion has Phazon removed and stored. Technology has been added to stores. Will take time to decipher. Rewards: Calculating...
On the outside, the physic shell disappeared. Azul reabsorbed it and felt a lot better. His thinking had increased sixfold. Using that new strength he used Lv4 Mental Cleansing on everyone in the room. It hit the new arrival as well.
'She said female right?' Azul asked Hotshot who was still holding him through the link.
'Yes.' Hotshot looked over and was suprised at the different color scheme. 'Eh, why is the color different. I do like it more though.'
Zelda: Dark Samus is a Metroid combined with the DNA of Samus Aran from the stealing of her Phazon suit. Metroids are genderless creatures that reproduce asexually. However.. Samus is a genetically female human in nature. With a sprinkling of Chozo DNA. Genderless + a gender which Samus has = gender. Therefore Dark Samus is female. She has all of the Metroid's memories as well as Samus' memories.
'Oh joy...' Azul said walking over with Hotshot. "Glad you could make it." He offered his hand and was surprised she took with ease. The biotic strand hit him fast.
She was grateful to have escaped her situation. Which was death as she fell. After getting hit with an explosion. The Mental Cleansing made everything clear after the System and Zelda explained things to her. She was wearing N7 armor but the color scheme matched the one from Metroid Prime Corruption. Samus dropped the suitcase she carried and let the handshake end.
"For you. Or to be precise for the strongest female currently with you." Samus' voice came out as smooth as silk. It was cold and menacing but pleasant in a way. "Ready to get this over with for I can relax for once. Thanks for the work though."
"No problem." Azul was dumbfounded. He was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth though. "Hot suits is yours. Defintely the best suited to use as well as the fact you are the strongest female here."
"I resent that remark," Tifa say from next to them. A few of the others gave him a hard stare as well.
"Right...." Azul shook his head. "Oh, before I forget. Give me back my pistol."
"I will see to getting you another one." She said smiling. "Here take my Shotgun. It fully loaded and upgraded."
"The bodies have been taken care of," Jane said coming over. She had duplicated a few corpses to solve the problem of the Protheans questioning. "I am starting to think you received the better end."
"Oh most defintely. But your brother knows how to deal with them. I think your long term reward will be better. If you run into trouble, let me know." Azul felt the biotic strands come over him. Jane was happy again for consideration.
He would have to ask her soon about what happened before they met. 'How bad it was for her to deal with those other User's?'
Williams and a few colonists joined in the burning of the fake bodies. Surprisingly Drak Samus joined them for some reason.
'Guess they needed the bodies treated with respect? Ughh. Bass copy everything you can from these systems. This help with the Cyberspace world expansion on technology.' Working away at his map, Azul plotted a way out of here by shutting the facility down. The energy was used for the rest of the facility's needs that would allow them to escape. Looking at the security system he found everyone else.
With no speakers to use he lit up a path for them to escape. If they take it, they take It. If they don't... the Krogan would get to them. The colonists and other Vorcha who refuse to follow would have a bad day. 30 minutes later everything was planned perfectly. Looking everyone over again he was ready.
The Vorcha came over looking like human. Taller and skinnier than normal but food and nutrition would take care of that. The eyes were red and reminded the look of the vorchas. But everything else looked to be human to the T. The movements were better with some. Azul made note to chek that later.
After the fitting of the armor on everyone for Reaper Indoctrination, he locked everything else down. "Time to go."
"We are ready to go. What's the plan?" Tiffany asked.
"An elevator leads straight up back to the surface. Take the civilians and everyone else back up. Get to the ship as fast as you can. Could be some resistance so the lot will go with you." AzuI look over at Hotshot shaking his head. "You will go with them as well. Your efforts and Rayna's tech-savvy will be able to take care of any problems you might have with the doors." He looked around at the different people and figured it would be for the best. "Hotshot and Samus lead one team out. Kasumi take a quick approach, making sure no ambushes. Tifa you are with me down here. I need you to experience something." She nodded in understanding.
"What else will we need to do topside?" Slipp asked. "Do we come back down for the tech??"
"No. Contact Exo-geni. Tell them we have something to settle up on. Give them this." Handing over a quick file between Omni-tools. It was only a copy and a small portion. "This will get us a hefty sum. Tell them to send people to extract the remains."
"The remains?" Jane asked a little suprised.
"Yup remains." Azul looked to her unsure face. "Shalla your with us to. I need to see you in combat."
"You will have me go with you?" Shalla asked a little surprised. "Thank you." She looked over and requested the sniper rifle that did so much damage earlier. The other vorcha human shoulds lowered sadly. She gave him a pat on the back and informed he would get it back later.
"Yes. I would." Getting the shotgun at the ready, he moved to the elevator on the far side. "You can keep the pace and you know the tunnels. Your exprtise will be needed." Tifa followed in smg's at the ready. It looked different than earlier. Right as the lift started to close a Vorcha walk in.
"I will travel with. Extra gun. I will not sslow you down." The voice came out a little warped. It would be a while before the language can be spoken perfectly by this one. "You sshould not dissscount my help. I will keep the Hive sssafe." It was the one Shalla smacked earlier. He looked at her affectionately as he spoke.
"Very well then." Azul popped his back out the lift and shouted out. "Before I forget. None of you are allowed to die! See you topside!" He waved to them. the door closed and they went up. As they started traveling up, he looked to the new vorcha. "What is your name?"
"Of coursse. Ratta." The vorcha looked at him intuitively. "You are Azul yess?"
"He is Hive Master to you!" Shalla snapped at the vorcha. There was a deep anger there when talking to this one. Tifa gave Azul a look before looking to the side. "If you can not manage that, call him Commander." Ratta nodded at that. He put his head down.
His gun gripped tighter. Tifa furroved her brow under the helmet. She tapped her guns togethor as they rode up in silence. Azul opened a link with Shalla pressing his mind to focus on her. For the next few minutes she shared everything that happened. Once at the top they waited before they would head out.
'This was gonna be a hassle. Deciding against his better judgment, Azul kept his mouth shut. "Ok, our job is get out of here. Second to kill as many as the mercenaries we can. If we could cause the other team to get out faster, this would be win for us."
"Sounds good," Tifa said as the other two nodded. She stepped forward and looked at the feed with Azul. The view was that of the hall. Showing the other two they made a quick plan togethor. AzuI would blitz through, Shalla will take out the ones further ahead, Tifa will take the middle picking up any stragglers. Ratta would cover the rear.
"Schuup," the door opened. AzuI ran through like a freight train. He used Lv5 Biotic Shielding, Lv2 Concussive, Shot, Lv5 Misty Fist. Focusing on the shield, he the used water vapors at the outside to move at a high speed like a saw. The control was flawless as well as speeding up. The streams were thin, translucent, and sharp. With the intense biotic energy, it would cut through any barriers. The damage would not be minimal. The concussive shot hit at the first mercenary in the hallway he passed.
"Boom," the body of a Taurian slid back into the hall. His body landed awkwardly to the side. What was left of it anyway. The chest and torso were missing. Burnt out from the force and flame. As Azul passed by the corpse, Shalla made her move.
"Kachak, kachak," she placed two shots passed Azul's shoulders. The two shots hit a Krogan in the chest going right through his armor. To the left, another Krogan came out with a shotgun. The mercenary was ready to fire but never got the chance. He was right next to Azul.
"Swoosh," with a whip of the arm, the merc was smacked in the chest diagonally. The sped up biotic shield cut right through his kinetic shield and armor. With a burst of power, Azul sped up cutting through flesh.
"Arggh!!" The Krogan yelled as he was cut in two. His head hit against the wall making a dent with his head. Tifa took the right side about 30 feet back. She took no shots just yet. She was using her power to detect anyone else that could be around. So far none left. The biotic strands she pulled in were hectic and were not strong.
Tifa could feel Azul perfectly, however. He was pulling in all the dangerous strands. His own biotic stands let her know he was fearful of something down below. Turning down, Tifa broke into a sweat. 'Their is something dangerous here. Not right. Was this what he wanted me to feel?' Cutting the connection she moved up once it was time.
"Pow," a shot from a Salarian hit Azul in the chin. His shield held against no problem. His chin turned a little from the impact. Another came through crouching with a shotgun. "Kachow!" the blast hit Azul's shield to little effect.

"Swoosh," with a spinning sweep. Both mercenaries were killed. The initial swing took out the first. While he spun, Azul came down and finished the full spin inside the other. Dissipating the shield inside him. He spotted two more in the back but Shalla and Ratta took care of it easily. Standing up someone else was coming out from the side door. Two Taurians made it down the way and sat up on the corner. Sniper rifles lined to fire.
Aligning his shotgun he fired at Azul. "Kachack!" AzuI moved forward right before contact. Pulling his own Shotgun around he pulled the trigger. "Kachak," it tore through blasting the merc backward. The sniper's took that chance. "Koom, Koom," sliding on his feet with some mist vapor around it, AzuI pushed out with biotic energy causing the shots to travel a little up.
"Put, put," lodged in the ceiling he kept moving forward.
Zelda: At least you are relying on the others. If you end this in time, Lluvia has a reward for you when she returns. There is a high level quest down below. Would you like to take it?
'Nope. Someone else can totally have it.' Azul was not interested at the time. He would most likely not be interested later. He seperated his focus for a conversation with Zelda to deal with what he would like to do about the place.
System: Endurance Check 19 Fail
Shotgun lined and ready he opened fire. Excessively ahead at the Turians. "Kchk, Kchk, Kchk, Kchk, Kchk, Kchk," his shotgun blasted into the Turians face disfiguring them. They both managed to get a shot off. "Koom, koom," Azul was knocked back and fell. With a roll, he moved out of the way of a Krogan charging down the hallway.
The Krogan charged himself up with biotic energy. The charged wrapped around his shotgun for a strike at Shalla.
"Wham!" Tifa came out from the side hitting the Krogan right into the wall. She kicked at the muzzle jumping off towards Azul. Her smgs opening fire at any that appeared from the sides. She unloaded till the guns overheated. She was afraid.
"Kchk," Ratta fired the shotgun right in the back of the last mercenary near him. He had to turn to catch up with Shalla as she moved up.
"Woom," Shalla had a body hold up with biotics while she was moving. It was that of a dead Krogan. The two halves were used as shields.
"Grenades!" Tifa yelled. "A Salarian to the right."
"Tink, tink, tink," three grenades went out towards Shalla. "Woom," the body parts were then thrown right on top. Another Krogan came from the side. With a push of biotics, Tifa pushed him back as she cartwheeled over him. He barely moved so she tucked and kicked to push harder.
"Argh, you filthy little." the Krogan voiced trailed off.
"Booom," the grenades went off at once. Killing the merc and providing a messy area to fight in now. Blood was all over the place as the battle became intense in the middle.
Azul took the chance to unload the rounds into the next merc that appeared. A Turian fired back. His rifle caught him in the knee and shoulders. Before he got a chance to hit back he felt the need to jumped back and jumped the others in the middle.
"Kachack," he took a round to the back.
Shield -87%
"Koom," Shalla's sniper round passed right over his shoulder hitting the Turian who just fired. His helmet was knocked off. His shield were quite strong. His blue blood poured out in a beautiful arc hitting against the wall. "Thud," the Turian was struggling to stay awake. To much blood as he started to faint.
"Hit the deck! Rocket coming!" Tifa said over the comms. 'His movement are anticipating changes now. How much does he thrive in warfare? Will I be the same way?' A Krogan came up to the side of Tifa. To close for comfort apparently. "Huh?" Tifa just looked at him. "How did you get so close to me?" She was generally puzzled.
Zelda: You sure about not taking this quest?
"Rahh!" He went to bash her head in. It was a bad move on his part. Tifa grabbed him by the mouth and swung him into the central hallway. "Oof," the Krogan landed unceremoniously between the bodies. He tried standing and fell. "Wooow wow, oof." Tifa was using the blood to make the floor more slippery with her water control.
With a moment to catch his breath, Azul responded to Zelda as he waited for the rocket to fire. 'Tch. send it to Tifa. She what she thinks. My answer is no.' Getting into the open, he flipped the Rocket User off. He was taunting him. "Hey! I heard your mom likes to party with Hanars!"
"You filthy human!" He fired instantly.
Azul rushed forward intercepting the rocket with his biotics. When it made contact, the blast was contained. "Boom!" Muffled and held in place. "Fwoosh," another was fired. Throwing the sphere out it caused another explosion. "Kaboom!" Azul broke through the smoke, shotgun unloading. Covering the distance was no problem. He then used a biotic charge. It definitely cleared the way easier.
System: Strength Check 24 Pass
"Wham!" He rammed into the merc splattering the body as he came out through the other side. He fired a Concussive shot instantly on instinct. Wrapping it in blood for more power. "Boom," A Krogan that came in front afterward dropped.
Bass: More incoming.
Azul looked back, the others were fine. Taking a quick breather. Passing Mental Cleansing on the room to clear their heads up. He propped against the wall extending his biotic control. Looking at the few pass by on the map to match speed and movement to who comes first.
-Finishing up-
Clearing the way took another 6 minutes total. Moving up to the hall main door, they tried comms to make sure all was clear. The static finally cleared.
"If any of you can hear me, we are coming in. I will open this door now. Do not shoot." Connecting with his Omni-tool BAss went to work getting everything over. The others came up behind, except Ratta.
Shalla turned and kept watch out for anything else. The waves from her let Azul know she was calm. So no issue there. Ratta went about collecting ammo and weapons that could be scavenged. Tifa was quiet as she talked with Zelda.
The door opened up. The Other team was inside wounded but alive.
"Frack!" Moving over to them he pulled his biotic energy together to heal them. Jane and the Protheans had left.
Maldova called over comms. "We are coming back to do pick up. Exogeni is sending a team now. Four hours till they are here. They are jumping at the bit to get here."
Getting everyone together we made to go to the exits leaving. Once up top, the crew came to take the wounded. Maldova made it over to him. From her biotic strands, it was only a part of Lluvia inside.
"Everything is clear. The Krogan ship tried to make it but we crippled the weapons. They fled the sector so we have that to deal with." As Maldova looked around, she made sure everyone else was out of earshot. "Why did you want me to tell them to gather up the remains? Shouldn't everything be in good condition?"
"It was." Before she asks again, he saw the option of blue and red again. Tifa was in red however Maldova was in blue. "Yeah, was gonna blow the place up again."
"Dont do that. We are going to invest in it."
"The hell we are. This place has something in it extremely dangerous. If you do, it is without me and my team. Anywho are staying, I am cutting ties with." Azul said loud enough for everyone to hear. "It is a permanent cut. That you can take to the bank." He sent the controls towards Maldova. She could do what she want with the place.
Tifa came over. It only took her a few minutes to talk things over with Maldova. They both came over to Azul. "There are still survivors in the pods down below." Tifa stated. "You want to blow the area up. Burying the place furthur down below. Why didn't you pass the controls to Maldova for the bomb but me for the deciding of the mission?"
"Because you felt what I felt down below. A dumb idea getting involved down here. I sent a warning to Jana as well. It is up to her what she does. I am not getting involved." Azul said matter of fact as he worked with the others. "We find enough trouble as it is. I am not going directly into that shitstorm down below. Not all rewards are worth it."
"I see. Are you really going to cut ties with whoever takes it?" Azul gave her nod as he worked. "Are you that serious about it?"
"Have you known me not to be serious when it came to safety?" He asked while still helping a colonist who took a bad shot in the shoulder.
"Last time.. what did you do?" Tifa asked. She was fishing for information trying to help her decide. Whatever was down there, it scared her but intrigued her.
"Blew it up. I knew less information this time than last time actually. Nothing is good down below."
Azul watched as the wound closed on the colonists as thet man thank him and went to help the others load up supplies. "It killed the enemy. Whatever that thing is down below."
"But the Protheans down below.. they could be saved." Tifa added. "We can help them."
"Nope. The fuck we can stupid. When I transferred the power around, the life pods started to die. I had no plans on risking the crew with any chances. Life support was turned off throughout the facility normally. So I moved the power to suit what I wanted. Hate me for it if you wish." Walking towards the shuttle AzuI stopped for a moment. "I didn't tell you because it was not your burden to bear. The lives of those people only need to weigh on me. The price of command I am afraid. The dumb thing is, you should no better. If your Commander who does dangerous shit all the time does not want to get involved, what the hell does that tell you?" Stepping inside he relaxed into the seat.
"Your stupid! You could have one of us do it. None of us would have disagreed. Especially with what I read from the file. The Protheans were monsters before the Reapers made their return." Kicking a rock around Tifa sulked just a little before she entered the other shuttle. She was upset he called her stupid. But she had a smile on her face for some reason.
"Tink, tink," her knuckles wrapped against the side. Maldova looked at him sitting across in the shuttle. "Let's get off this planet already."
