Ling Mo was thinking just that.
The prototypes of these Water Corpses were ordinary zombies, and the infection source concentrated them here through some means.
Catching, luring, or gradually bringing them in batch by batch... In any case, any method was possible, and Ling Mo couldn't guess right away. This isn't something worth straining one's brain over.
After these zombies were brought here, they would be infected by this virus.
It might be through biting, or perhaps some other means...
But most zombies could not withstand this virus, and these unlucky zombies then turned into Water Corpses.
More specifically, they died during the mutation process, but their bodies didn't decompose and instead became fertilizer, providing both spiritual and scent shielding for protection here.
The humid and hot gases they produced might even have a greenhouse effect...
Truly a universal fertilizer!
