Ari took the suitcase and opened her apartment door.
Both of them entered and Minas eyes widened.
"Ari you have been living here for the past month? Is that the apartment I got for you??
I am so sorry since it wasn't enough time and money and I couldn't visit the place myself I trusted the owner, that it is small but really comfortable and pretty."
This was not only a tiny apartment, but it was really shabby.
Mina felt sorry for Ari. It was her fault after all.
Ari was her looking sad.
"Don't worry it is more than enough. I could sleep here peacefully and the owner of convenience store beside the apartment is really friendly."
"Ari, since I am back we gonna quickly find a new place, trust me.
I saved a bit more money the past few months ths and I still give consultations in Germany through face time, to earn a little till I get used to the law here again and find a job."
Mina grew up in Germany, and studied there.
In order to work in Korea as a lawyer she needed to have either very good connections to get through the university without all the lessons, or she need to study all those years again.
Ari felt even more sad knowing that Mina did it all for her.
They got to know each other in school, both of them were outstanding students.
As they both were the only ones with a Korean background they befriended each other and made it a rule to always speak Korean so that they won't forget the language.
Another rule was it to learn everything also in Korean. For Ari, it was a bit easier, the medical system was pretty much the same. The treatment one could do in Germany, was the same as in Korea.
For Mina, it was a whole different thing. The laws were different in both countries.
She spent her days learning the German law and the nights learning the Korean law.
But after working a few years in Germany without needing the Korean ones, she forgot a lot and needed to get into it again.
