Koji's team jumped outside the window and they rolled at the ground to lessen the impact.
Koji immediately issued orders and his team execute it flawlessly. They were in sync with each other.
"3 o clock Riku, Slide and hide. Conceal and watch our prey. 9 o clock Kurara, bring the sacks and deploy. Wait for my orders, send signal once you're in position."
Riku is running with his hands on the back (typical ninja run), but he slithers like a vicious snake. Silent and untraceable.
He's slim body can easily hide in a small sized tree trunk. He's looking at the beast by using the reflection of his kunai and because of this, he can watch the beast and it can't see him.
He threw a small pebble upwards to Koji's location and it avoided the beast vision. This is the signal that he's in position.
Kurara climb a big tree in 9 o clock's direction.
She carried the 2 sacks full of stones. She has the strength to carry almost 200lbs and run without slowing down despite her figure which is like any normal girls figure. Any men who saw this scene will be shocked and ashamed of their strength. Her strength is twice the amount of a strong weight lifter and her body looks as fragile as a teenager girl.
No wonder Riku is afraid of her slap, she can knock out a cow with her raw strength. But she still acts like a tamed kitten whenever she's in front of Koji. She then signalled to Koji as well.
When Koji received their signals, he begun and went straight to the beast carefully.
The shadow reached 10 feet, he estimated the beast is around 6-7 feet based on the position of the light and the shadow. The beast has a humanoid body, except for a long and thick arms and hairy body. It looks like a wild chimpanzee and it was munching rare fruits and ginseng. It looks very pissed as it growled and it also screamed which sounded like a wailing ghost.
When the chimpanzee saw Koji, it size him up first before taking any action. When the beast realised that Koji's alone, it smirked as if mocking the small and weak man in his eyes. The beast rushed and charged to Koji immediately.
Koji, remains calm. He also compared his strength to the beast by throwing huge stone that's almost 20kg.
The Chimpanzee's bulging arms were not just for show. It punched the incoming stone and when it hit the stone, it changed it's trajectory and became faster. It hit a huge tree and punctured up to the middle of the tree's trunk. If a normal man saw this, they'll be scared out and ran with their tails coiling inside.
He knows that he'll be dead if the punch connected to him.
"What a brute! I thought its an easy money but the price is just right for this mission. PLAN C Execute!"
Koji run for his life! Despite the dangerous beast chasing him, he still smiled and remained composed.
He dashed to 3 o clock direction and lured the Beast to Riku's position.
His face frowned and mumbled:" My refund... It is impossible to return this Kunai anymore."
He sighed and draw out his brand new Kunai.
Koji whistled and when Riku heard it, he prepared a sack.
As soon as the beast reached the exact spot that he calculated, Riku jumped and caught the beast head using the old sack from the Ramen House.
It may sound simple and silly but the sack sealed the beast's fate, it robbed the beast's sense of sight, smell, and caused a slight suffocation. This simple trick is very effective!
The flour leftovers inside the sack blocked the eyes and nostrils of the beast.
Normally, eyes will produce tears to wash out foreign objects and nose will produce mucus but this will implicate the current situation. Flour will become sticky and lumpy if there's small amount of liquid. The beast also inhaled some flour, it was caught off guard and before it can roar due to anger, it was choked by its own saliva and lumps of flour.
How can Koji and Riku let this chance slip? Riku slashed the back of the beast and kicked the beast behind its knee to make it kneel. Koji hardened his grip and slashed the Kunai to the Carotid Artery of the Beast, causing the blood to spurt and they immediately dodge the beast's hands when it blindly grabbed them. Despite the damage and injury they inflicted, it's very tough and still full of vitality so it won't die that fast. The beast was enraged and it tear the sack apart using its powerful arms but instead of fighting back, it run away to 9 o clock.
They immediately followed the beast. Koji shouted: "Ready!"
Unfortunately for the beast, Kurara was positioned above the tree ahead. The beast run straight to the X Mark!
"Drop it now!"
"Aye aye Captain!"
Bulls eye! The head of the beast was almost crushed by the 200lbs sack of stones.
Kurara jumped down and smiled.
She spinned once, made a finger heart using her left hand and winked to her team mates.
Koji and Riku facepalmed.
But the beast unexpectedly moved and made its one last punch to Kurara.
Koji and Riku's mouth opened so wide due to their shock!
Kurara's smiling face frowned and then change to an angry expression. Her instinct made her attack the beast.
She launched a slap using her left hand and it collided head on with the beast's fist.
"BAMMM!
A loud and crisp sound echoed when the fist and palm collided!
The arm of the beast went limp and Kurara cried. She apologised to the beast and whispered: "I do not wish to kill you, but you made me do it! I'm planning to chase you away so you can still live but you're so stubborn!"
Koji and Riku stared blankly.
They don't know how long their mouths were wide opened, but they can still feel the shockwave of the slap made by Kurara and it still gives them the creeps and goosebumps.
They simultaneously closed their mouths and swallowed their saliva.
Koji coughed and laughed "Hahaha, serves you right! You beast dare hurt our Kurara-san"
"Yes, the beast really deserved it! Cheer up Kurara-san!"
"Sorry for making you worry guys! I promise I'll be stronger and will not be clumsy next time!"
"Its okay , we're here for you! Were a team! Right Koji-san and Kurara-san?"
"Yeah, yeah! Let's go! "
"Let's wrap this up! It's time to get our bounty!"
Riku recalled what happened and he contemplated.
'Is he really a genius, did he calculate and planned everything? Am I stupid to think that I doubted his plan to use a sack to disable a beast? I will never doubt his capabilities again! I feel so bad that I laughed at his strategies and plans, but it was obvious that he planned everything based on the team's capabilities. He even considered kicking the groin of the beast or coax it by negotiating and then trick it but who knows? Maybe it will really work fine if we did it?'
"Hey! Don't lag behind Riku! Do you want me to deduct your share?"
"Don't you dare touch my share! Split it like the usual! 20 percent each and 40 percent to the orphanage! Our little brothers and sisters needs funds so we must work harder!"
"Of course, the 40 percent is for the orphanage! Who dares to steal funds for our little brothers and sisters? I'll kill him right now!" Koji shouted back to Riku!
The trio run faster and energetically! They completed a D rank mission with 50000 ryo reward so they're cheerful and energetic!
They bade farewell to Lady Aira and then they returned to the Academy to report.
