Ren Suo didn't have a dream.
It felt as though he woke up early in the morning but didn't want to get out of bed, so he covered himself with a blanket again. He wasn't fully asleep, but he wasn't fully awake, either. His consciousness was fuzzy, and his body felt incredibly light. It was as if he was lingering in a time tunnel, swaying back and forth. He might have felt like he slept for an hour when in fact, he had lain there for only three minutes, or he might have felt like he slept for three minutes but actually had a deep sleep for three hours...
However, this half-sleeping, half-awake sensation was actually quite comfortable. When you're truly asleep, you feel nothing, and when you're really awake, you feel too much. This sensation of only experiencing the depths of slumber was almost as sweet as growing quickly through sleep, like a baby.
Because Ren Suo truly felt like he was growing.
Or rather, he was expanding.
