Damien observed his boons with a smirk. "An extra 15% to my magical strength and +50% to learning anything. That's... ridiculous."

"System, can you explain why I have these extra stat points? And how am I already an Archmage?"

Ting!

"All these boons were granted by the Great God who transported the Host to this planet. While the world was inspired by the game EverTale, that is where the similarities end. This world is real, its inhabitants have their own laws, systems, and ways of survival—just like Earth. Death is permanent, and there are countless beings and creatures capable of killing the Host."

"The Touched by the Divine and Wondrous Elemental Archmage boons were awarded due to the Host being the strongest mage in the RPG EverTale. The Archmage title is granted once the archmagi level is achieved, regardless of how it's reached."

"Although the Host has a System, the native sentients of this world do not. Some may acquire similar abilities through training, experience, and skills, which grant them information through spells or passive effects. However, their information is never as detailed or as adaptable as the System."

"Sentients rank themselves using tiers and ranks. Each tier contains 9 primary ranks with subtier levels in between. They use magical items to detect tiers and class ranks."

Damien tried to digest all this information. He knew he was strong—his game character had been a powerhouse—but this new start was much more than he expected. Hopefully, it wouldn't end quickly.

"No wonder I nearly caused a Category 6 earthquake with that spell. My elemental magic is essentially doubled. Even though this is based on EverTale, I need to treat this world like Earth. This isn't a game—it's my life now. And I need to survive."

"The boons are a gift from the Great God due to your delayed arrival," the System continued. "This world has undergone hundreds of millions of Earth years in evolution. Its dangers are far too vast for an average Earthling to survive unassisted."

"As the Harbinger of the Great God, you are the first of your kind here. The Divine System exists to help you build your kingdom, convert mana into matter, and regulate spellcasting until you master mana control."

"The 500 Divine Points were compensation for your... inconvenience."

"'Inconvenience'?! He kidnapped me!" Damien thought bitterly.

Even the System seemed to acknowledge how wrong this situation was. He took a deep breath, trying to push aside his anger.

"So, I need to grow stronger, protect myself, and build a kingdom. Problem is—I have no idea where I even am. First step, location."

"System, is there a map?"

Instantly, a screen popped up in front of his eyes. A GPS-style map appeared, showing a 50-mile radius in every direction. Everything beyond that was grayed out.

"Looks like I need to explore to unlock more areas."

He appeared to be southeast of a mountain range. That could be good—ideal for mining, possibly rare gems or metals he could absorb.

"System, what's the currency here?"

"The Host is correct. The primary currencies are copper, silver, gold, platinum, and high gold coins.

100 copper = 1 silver

100 silver = 1 gold

100 gold = 1 platinum

100 platinum = 1 high gold.

For other conversion, 1 high gold equates to 1 billion bopper coins. A platinum coming would be worth 1 million copper and 1 gold coin is ten thousand copper.

Precious gems are also valuable due to their enchantment potential, mana storage, and other mystical uses. Animal skins and furs are tradeable as well."

"Alright, at least currency isn't too unfamiliar. And if I stay away from the mountains for now, I might avoid an early death. So far this clearing has been safe although I'm not sure for how much longer. Damien then had another thought, system, what are Divine Points used for?"

"Divine Points or DP are a divine crafting and construction resource. Through the Kingdom Tab, the Host can construct buildings, weapons, and armor based on Earth's history or native to Damascus. Other materials may be added after exposure to them. All created materials are enhanced by divine and mana-rich properties."

"For instance, wooden items crafted by the Host will be nearly three times stronger than normal Damascus wood. Divine Points can also be used to create life—though with limitations. The Host can blueprint any structure by physically touching it. The Hero level must be high enough to recreate it."

"The Inventory is a pocket dimension capable of storing non- items except plant life. Its storage capacity equals the distance between Earth and Damascus—effectively unlimited."

Damien's jaw dropped. "So I could put a whole castle in my inventory... as long as no one's living in it. Incredible."

"I need to find other civilizations, learn their tech, and replicate their structures. Imagine dropping an A1 Abrams tank on a medieval battlefield or stealth jet bombers... I'd be unstoppable. That'll take time—and a high Hero level apperantly."

Damien was finding the information from the system a great distraction from his current predicament. Completely immersed in the HUD, the system continued:

"The Host will find all Earth materials here, as well as native Damascus resources."

"Safety feature ended.

"What?"

As Damien pondered all this, a sudden chill crept up his spine. A primal instinct screamed—danger.

He heard it before he saw it. A branch snapped. Then came the deep, low growl that vibrated through his chest, followed by a roar so powerful, the trees around him trembled.

The monster must have been stolling by because his safety feature just ended for literally a few seconds and all of a sudden..

THUM....THUM.....THUM, THUM!

"GgggrrrOOOOr!!"

Damien froze. "Only death follows a sound like that... my death."

He clenched his fists and channeled every ounce of bravery he could muster before looking up at the massive beast and whispered, "Not today."
