"How are you feeling Xia?" Scar walked up to the youngest member of the group to check on her.
"I feel better now that he won't be able to harm any other innocent souls" Xia puffed out her chest in resolution.
"He didn't try anything right?" Scar grabbed both of her shoulders and intently stared into Xia's eyes to make absolutely sure she was fine. It was her first major mission, despite knowing how clever Xia was, Scarlet couldn't help but still be worried for her newest and youngest sister.
Xia's eyes started welling with tears but a smile appeared on her beautiful face, "I promise sister Scarlet, nothing happened". Xia then hugged Scar very tightly.
"Thank you for caring about me" she whispered to Scarlet.
Scarlet smiled and squeezed Xia back "Of course, we are a family now!"
"Of course sister Xia is fine! She would have kicked his ass if he had tried anything!" Hela chuckled, interrupting their little moment. Hela grabbed onto Xia and wrapped her arm around her shoulders after Scar let go of their hug.
Xia laughed along with Hela and they began walking out of the ally together arms linked, while the rest followed behind them.
"Masks!" A reminded them in an impatient voice before they got onto the main street.
Scar patted A's back with a smile. Her right hand man can be so paranoid sometimes. For being so strong and smart, he sure can be a worry-wort.
However, everyone did as told and put their masks back on over their faces and pulled their hooded cloaks up. They entered the dimly lit streets of the city as they made their way back to their HQ.
"I still think we should have burned his body" Dragon spoke up from behind everyone.
"Jeez, you are such a pyro" Roman complained as he walked next to Dragon.
"Not this close to the home's Dragon, you know this" Scar chided him as she walked a little bit ahead of the two.
"Besides, the way we left him will serve as a good reminder to all our enemies" Scarlet added with a cheerful smile.
"How are you so young yet so vicious?" Roman asked Scarlet in a half joking manner. This made Scar turn around and give him a dead panned look.
"You really need to ask that bro Roman? Think back to how all of us got here" Scarlet put her hands behind her back as she faced back forward.
"Besides" she continued, "he was a monster, 'Khan the Great' was none other than a disgusting piece of garbage that preyed upon the innocent. People like that don't deserve to breathe the same air as us. Do you think he was any less vicious when he had tricked that child who was no older than 7 years to follow him? What about not even an hour ago, he had set his sights on our little sister Xia? We hunt down the monsters in hopes to make sure other people don't have the same fates as us Brother Roman."
