"I was not aware that you two were acquainted with President Qin as well." Shen Wangjing commented pleasantly.
"I am merely an acquaintance. Not particularly close." Long Hui replied in a cool tone.
Shen Wangjing glanced between Long Hui and Qin Xia, quickly picking up on the cold tension between them. It was obvious that the two men harboured a mutual dislike for one another, making it clear that the only reason they were sitting at the same table was because of Yu Qi.
Shen Quoxi picked up on the dynamic as well, inwardly scoffing as she concluded that Yu Qi was shamelessly stringing both powerful men along.
