They walked out together side by side.

"Oh, I see. I noticed that you recognised the herbs in my shop earlier." Grandpa Tang recalled that detail.

In truth, she had only learned about those herbs yesterday.
"Do you want to be my disciple? Let me meet your parents." Grandpa Tang was visibly excited at the thought of taking in a disciple.

"But your family might be against this idea?" Yu Qi asked in concern
She knew that some people disliked the idea of accepting a foster family member.
"Dare to go against my decision? Hmph... Yu Qi, you don't have to worry about that." Grandpa Tang was already determined to make her his granddaughter.
"Thank you, Grandpa Tang."
"Call me, grandfather."
"Grandfather."
"It feels good having a granddaughter instead of a grandson." Grandpa Tang said happily as he stroked his white beard. "I will brag about this to Old Man Feng later."
Yu Qi also felt genuinely happy. This reminded her of her own grandfather. Having a grandfather who truly loved you really felt warm and comforting.

As usual, Yu Qi entered her space to continue learning. After attending two hours of lectures about various herbs, she went to the practice room. In the practice room, she was presented with patients showing different symptoms. She had to carefully think about which combinations of herbs could effectively cure those symptoms.
After that, she proceeded with her self-training. Just as she had mentioned yesterday, her body was weak and lacked stamina. Therefore, she asked Mary to plan a proper training routine for her.
She realised that she might need to create a strict schedule whenever she entered her space. She wanted to learn as much as she possibly could and improve herself quickly.
