Mu Fan coldly watched the Gun Knight that had just charged out in front of him, seemingly aiming to launch a flanking ambush.
He had no idea who was piloting the mecha.

"Teresa, Fire Hills area, it's advantageous terrain, that's our only edge. Coming out here, do you regret it?" Jerome's voice crackled over the radio waves.
"Major, what's there to regret? If I was afraid of dying, would I have come here?"

The thunderous footsteps passed by, and Mu Fan glanced at the backs of these two mechas, then chose to move in a direction forming a ninety-degree angle to them.
That direction was where the Empire's main offensive was coming from.
