"Intuition," The Vice President replied slowly, "But while feelings can be true… all evidence says otherwise. So, for now, you are off the hook, but since this is still a pending investigation, Mr. Kurama. You will unfortunately have to be placed in solitary confinement until it is time to leave for Project X. Any questions or concerns before you are sent to your new home for the next couple of days?"
"... none, sir, however, can I retrieve a couple of things from my dorm before I'm placed in confinement?" Rin asked with a sigh, even though internally he was beyond overjoyed, 'Perfect, couldn't ask for a better chance to plan and create my Varick Star Body!'
"Sure, just let me get someone to accompany you," Vice President Calvin said with a smile as he thought of the perfect person to accompany Rin to his dorm and take him to confinement.
"Maria, could you please accompany Mr. Kurama here to retrieve some of his belongings from his dorm before taking him to confinement for me?" Calvin shouted as his personal assistant appeared in the room in a flash of blue lightning.
Zap. Swoosh.
"It would be my pleasure, Vice President Calvin!" A short Asian lady with brunette hair and fluorescent green eyes said with a joyful grin, as she wore a white blouse with black bootcut pants and high heels. "Also, you may refer to me as Mrs. Maria or Mrs. M for short, Mr. Kurama."
"It's nice to meet you, Mrs. M," Rin replied coolly.
'Oh, it seems we have another problematic student who can't appreciate beauty nor talk to women,' thought Maria as the joyful grin she once had disappeared, and a scowl replaced it.
"Oh, brother... now, he just had to upset the hornet's nest," Calvin muttered to himself before trying to salvage the situation before it escalated.
"Maria, just ignore his attitude and take him to his dorm, which is in area #1, before sending him to cell AX3 for three days of solitary confinement."
"Will do, sir," Maria replied sharply as she left his office with Rin, who just shrugged his shoulders and followed behind her.

15 minutes later...
After leaving the vice president's office and retrieving my belongings from my dorm, which consisted of a few snacks, some clothes, and a small pouch. It was finally time to see the cell; I would be staying in as I prepared to not only create a Star Body but also fill up all its stars at once.
"So how long have you and the vice president, Calvin, been a thing, Mrs. M?" I asked curiously after we left the dormitory area and walked into the forest behind FB.
"What makes you think we're a thing, Mr. Kurama?" Mrs. M asked curiously with intrigue, "Also, moving forward, don't ask me any personal questions during work hours."
She said with a side eye as Rin walked beside her.
'Well, for one, you never denied it outright... but what do I know,' Rin thought before replying to her question, "Considering the way you looked at the vice president when he called for you, I'd say sparks are flying between y'all. Or at the very least, emotions are budding."
"Sorry to burst your bubble, Mr. Kurama; however, Calvin and I are just strictly platonic friends who work together. So, do stop with these funny ideas of yours about our relationship and think about how you're going to spend your next three days in solitary confinement."
She said plainly before suddenly stopping me and walking toward a small mountain at the edge of the forest.
"... damn, who wouldn't have thought Forbidden Blood was so poor that it couldn't afford its own prison and had to resort to a mountain to hold captives," Rin commented sarcastically as he stayed where he was and just watched Mrs. M, who lightly tapped the mountain seven times before muttering something in Latin and returning to Rin's side.
"Aperta sesamae."
"So, what now?" Rin asked as he surveyed his surroundings with curiosity to see if anything fascinating would happen.
"Relax, and just wait and see," Ms. M smiled as the ground began to tremble as if an earthquake were about to occur; however, before it could reach that point, the surface of the mountain started to quiver like Jell-O once it's touched.
Revealing the world hidden beneath this small mountain, as the ground below them collapsed and swallowed them whole, like a pothole unannouncedly forming in the middle of the road. Before everything returned to normal, leaving no evidence behind that something had occurred.

Meanwhile, as Rin and Ms. M were devoured by the earth and taken to their destination…
The Newtons finally arrived at Forbidden Blood after learning about their son's sudden disappearance during the reselection.
"So, what can I do for you, Mr. and Mrs. Newtown, on this lovely Friday?" Vice President Calvin asked calmly as he glanced at the parents of Isaac Newton.
"You know why we're here, Calvin, so just stop with the pleasantries and tell us what happened to our son?" Mr. Newton spat angrily as he tried not to let his emotions take over and cause him to punch Calvin in the face to wipe away that annoying smile of his.
Fortunately, even though Mr. Newton was furious about the whole situation, his wife helped calm him down by gently holding his hand and giving him a reassuring smile that everything would be okay.
'Isaac... just where are you, my son?' She thought with worry as her eyes trailed the room, seeking answers to a question that couldn't be fulfilled.
