An almost neverending speech and preach of our Colonel Ruelga, finally ended at last! well, he regale many things related to the kingdom and the outside world. A propaganda, solely to promote, impose and glorify our Kingdom and its military might. A way to give high hopes for our local citizens, for them to feel more secured.
Especially starting today...
Of course we already knew what is the meaning behind Colonel's preach, and as a former Trainee, not only we do the hellish training everyday, we also did normal classes and learnt History or two, about our Territory and this World histories.
For the record, the name of this City was Don'Yoku. The far eastern City of the Kingdom and the frontier before the uncharted territory. Facing it...
Oh! by the way I forgot to introduce myself, I am Yulin and from today onward, I've become a Soldier.

I subconciously yawned after Colonel Raguel finished his preach rather than a speech.
As for our ceremony, it was held at City's Central Plaza. We, who came from Military Training for full 2 years, Graduated at last.
And from henceforth, it was us, our Batch who will provide Safety, Peace and Order around this city.
At the very least, I've finally fullfilled one of my dreams. And it is to become a Soldier. Yup a Soldier, I really am proud of myself now. Now, I can lazily roam and patrol the City starting today hehehehe. Oof I slipped..
Sigh—— okay I'll explain why...
Those who wanted to become an Adventurer. Those who seek Adventure and Fame? Those who seek Death?
Nope. Im not one of them, and I will never become one of them. no way in hell. all I want is a carefree life, thats all.
Anyway, snapped back to reality after someone lightly elbowed my side. . .
"Lets go, Buddy" it was my partner and buddy, Raljan. He is a lanky and innocent looking guy who looked like he doesn't give a damn to anything, but he is reliable, in a good way of course.
He had been my roommate since our cadet trainings. And according to one of our policies, when one is responsible for patrolling, one had to go with his 'Buddy', or atleast, a party of two.
Raljan, is my only close mates since I started training and vise versa. Whats more, we two, are on the category of what you called an Average Trainee, we didn't stand out, I think?
So we didn't make friends with others or rather, our existence was so thin from the very start, were more of an invisible. So we two, decided to partner up just like that.
Back to the topic...After Colonel Ruelga dispersed us and concluded the ceremony, we went on our respected position. Of course we already wearing our Soldier Uniform. a Bronze Helmet and chainmail covering our entirety of face and body, and a light armor on top of it, a Skirt-looking armor covering our butt and crotch. Also, our boots that was made of rubber with some metals attached. our weapon was Broadsword, small Round Shield, and small throwing axe as a sub weapon.
In short, a Standard Soldier lived in this city. Not in the whole kingdom but in this city.
And I and Raljan, are assigned on patrolling the Central Plaza today, in which we're here as of right now, walking, then to the slum area until the East Gate. Other soldiers have their Schedules to follow, so we won't be conflicted with others.
This is the first day for this Job so I was quite Nervous. Maybe?
Sigh—
I sigh heavily again, why does it have to be at the East Gate of all Gates? Such a drag. Is what I thought.
Not long after we exited the Central Plaza, a particle of blue and white Lights simultaneously descend from the sky at the Biggest field not far away from us. On that field was an Idol of [Goddess Svina], the Goddess of Life and Prosperity, she was our Upper Tier Goddess.
Long and straight Smooth hair, Chubby cheek, low bridge nose, round and big eyes with long and semi-thick eyebrows. she's not a beauty but she still a Goddess of Prosperity. Our Goddess. a Goddess that grants wishes riches for the poor.
Meaning, her [Child] came today, and they came at this exact moment. And that blue light? are supposed to be them.
I see, so today was the d-day. And this world will started to prosper. Or so what everyone believed.

After I and Raljan exited from the Central Plaza while also observing 'them', some went in a different direction while some, idle for some unknown reason. some were talking to every person they encounter which is weird, while some Immediately looking for any work which is also veeeery weird. Some went out to hunt monsters, while others started buying an item or cheap equipments.
But when, what and how they have that much money in a first place? I even heard some of them murmured about--

[enpisi's here are lifelike] and more. maybe it was the thing they only know of.
but one thing is for sure, they all have the same ragged clothes. male or female, their clothings are all the same. I even heard some of them said about 'Beginners Perk'. Really, I dont get what they were saying.
There are others that talked to us and ask for some direction, though some was polite but others didn't seem to have any manners at all.
Doesnt matter to me though, all I have to do from now on is to finish my Job and call it a day then lazily lie my back at my comfortable bed after going home.
"What do you think of them, Buddy?"
Raljan ask me out of nowhere who is walking with me side by side.
Tilting my head as if asking him what he meant
"Otherworlder, are they really Immortal?" he asks curiously, while we still walking slowly and just spectating as if some trouble may arise at anytime.
"Who knows" I answered him halfheartedly.
This Raljan guy, is one curious fella. He wanted an immediate answer to a question and seek of it for his own convinience. I dont know if that was good or a bad thing because there was a saying, too much knowledge can kill people.
"Ignorance is a Bliss Buddy, so I think we have to mind our own—" I responded while tapping his shoulder.
"Kyaaak—!"
But we heard a cry of a woman two alleyways not far away from us. Thus we run where the voice is coming from. And it was a place where the Cheapest Alchemist Store of Low Grade Potion and Antidote Potion resides
[Granny Chayu Alchemy] was its name, with the sigil of a vial under the drop of water.
Granny herself is a Potion Maker here. But after I saw her butt on the ground full of dirt, I ran where she was while some bruises could be seen...
"Whats wrong here, are you alright?", I immediately inquire after helping her stand back up.
In this kind of Area, not many people went to pass through as it was almost at the outskirt of Eastern Gate slum area.
An area of poor so they say. So, many thieves, bandit and homeless alike resided in this area. As for the Granny Chayo potions, compared to normal Alchemist stores, it have genuine effects, sometimes it even have rare occurrence like Transmutation which is her
In front, I saw a guy who walked out from her Store, it was drooling and has teary eyes like he was the victim here.
"That Bitch scammed me! look at this potion and her work! they're the same but her price was below 30%, meaning ,this Potion isn't reliable at all! how shameless!" He said and gritted his teeth while showing two different vial of potion. one is from granny's store and the others is from General Store.
"Did you test it?" I asked him, while looking at him furiously.
"W-what for?! she is obviously scamming me in a broad daylight!!" he replied
This f*cker. He hasn't tested it but is already complaining. According to his clothing and [Tags], he is a Local Adventurer. but why is he drooling?
BAM BAM BA—M!
Thereafter, we heard several noise from above. No it came outside the Wall.
"Granny, come! and you! Buddy drag that guy out. We'll check what was happening first" I pointed to Local Adventurer and walk away supporting Granny Chayu.
Raljan gets ahold of the Adventurer's nape with sheathed sword in his other hand. If this guy resists Raljan will beheaded him on the spot.
This buddy of mine will kill him out of anger for sure after all of this happenings. I wanted to solve this problem here but if anything were happened outside, we have to atleast prepare for the worse. Or is what I wanted to say, but this Gate is in the good hands that I know of.
