Main protagonist. A 17-year-old orphan living in the orphanage in the city of Aethelgard. Student at the Three Dragons Academy in Aethelgard. In the prologue, she is revealed to be a user of the singularity "Electricity Creation."

Blonde hair, large eyes, and a firm expression. 5'9" tall. Delicate lips and a thin chin. Long hair in the prologue (which takes place in the future), but usually keeps it short. She has self-esteem issues and is overly hard on herself. She wears more masculine clothes for fear of judgment. She has heterochromia, with a blue left eye and a green right eye. She is left-handed, but uses her singularity with her right hand. She is afraid of frogs (she finds them disgusting). She likes to write novels.

Siegfried II Von Dustiness

Singularity: ???

Co-protagonist of the story. Adventurer and administrator of the Aethelgard Orphanage. His past is troubled, and he avoids talking about it. He is called the "King of Useless Knowledge." He apparently comes from a noble family, but abdicated his position for some reason.

He is 6'0" tall. He is slim and in good physical shape. He is considered handsome and behaves quietly. He has low self-esteem and a tendency toward isolation and depression. His hair is wavy black, but he does not usually let it grow long. His eyes are honey-colored. He likes darker clothes and wears shirts and light fabrics. When he uses his ability, gray marks appear on the irises of his eyes, and he takes on an open posture and a mannequin-like gaze, becoming quite apathetic.

Orphanage administrator and adventurer. Young and resident of a town near Aethelgard. She was expelled from her home when she refused to marry a man chosen by her parents. She is very attached to Lucretia, whom she sees as a sister. Although she misses home, she has adopted the children at the orphanage as her new family.

She is 5'2" tall, has red hair, a small frame, and a sweet appearance. Her personality is cheerful, childlike, and a little eccentric. She wears light clothing and focuses on stealth.

Celina Aethelgard

Singularity: ???

The highest-ranking student at Aethelgard Academy. Daughter of an influential nobleman, descendant of the city's founders, and heir to a great fortune. She is betrothed to a lord from the capital, but hides her feelings for someone she cannot reveal.

Average height, great beauty, pale skin, and long blue hair. She was spoiled and lacks self-confidence, using her family name to get what she wants. She cannot handle rejection and does not know how to stand up to her father. She is impulsive, irresponsible, and controlling, but tries to make up for her mistakes later.

Elemental Affinity: Wood / Darkness

Sylmeria Belle

Singularity: ???

Sylmeria is one of the administrators of the Aethelgard orphanage and a retired adventurer. Her past is shrouded in mystery, and few know why she abandoned her career, took a vow of chastity, and became a nun. There is mention of a kind of "curse" that she carries. Although retired, she still helps her friends when necessary.

She is 5'11" tall, with large breasts and wide hips, which she hides under her clothes in an attempt not to draw attention to them. She is kind and smiles all the time, genuinely caring for everyone and taking on a maternal role for all the children and some of the younger adventurers. She has pink hair and red eyes.
