If you're a public figure, you either need to embrace your character flaws or it will be used against you. If you embrace being a gooner, it's almost impossible to ruin your reputation from perverted actions.
Instead, if you fake a persona, eventually there will be isolated incidents that will accumulate until a breaking point where everyone will turn against you.
