I never understood games that use extremely obvious bots. A prime example would be fortnite where the bots basically can't even hit you. If it's too obvious, there would be no satisfaction gained from playing against or killing them.
I recently re-downloaded clash royale because a friend wanted me too, and the state of the game is extremely sad. There's an excessive amount of new mechanics and way too many of them being extremely pay to win.
There's also lots of bots. Due to trophy inflation, my account is way too strong for where it currently is. Every single opponent gets completely destroyed. My reaction to being paired with an opponent two whole tiers above me in everything would not be to say good luck and good game or well played (which is what the opponents almost always do). The opponents also all have the same card and king levels. I'd be extremely surprised if some of them weren't bots. I don't know why they don't just adjust rank based on level at that point.
I just checked and all of them don't have a clan, no tournament participation, roughly 1k to 3k wins, and around 500 donations. Either the donations were randomly assigned or bots actually join clans which is even sadder. I'm also curious what their win rates are and if the win count is real.
