Madam G's birthday celebration was a success.
That night ended peacefully yet raised questions to some people. Who is that lady in red? She looks really close to madam G, yet no one is familiar with her. Which family does she come from, what is is her relationship with Tan family.
It was clear for Madam G that, that night she knows she can't let go of Stefany no matter what. The love she has grown for her is just, massive. She is afraid to let her go. What if that thing, at that night happen again? She can't imagine losing her one more time. One more time? . . she wishes her to not remember her past if possible, she will do everything to save her and keep her by her side.
Josh looked at his mother, wondering what she has been thinking lately. She often zoned out, yet she doesn't say anything. Madam G usually tells him if there is something wrong, but not this time. Something is happening . .

"...Mom" Josh touches her shoulders and hug her from behind. This man can be sweet sometimes, just to his mother. This is a rare sight of him. No matter how cold he is, he still has that soft spot for his mother.
Madam G took a deep breath and hold his right palm.
"Do you have something to tell me? You look . . not okay lately" He asked softly.
"Mmmm, just thinking of some stuffs"
"Would you mind sharing with me?"
"That sweet baby of mine, I. . Mommy is just thinking about her"
It's really uncommon for Josh to see his mom zoning out thinking about a person. When someone needs help, she can make decision so fast, everything just works best. What is with this girl? Why is his mom so fragile when it comes to her?
"Josh, what do you think of Stefany?" Madam G whispered.
Josh raised his brow. Took a moment to think "Mother, I don't know her. I only met her a few times. She... looks so fragile. . pity, miserable. There is something about her that cannot be described".
"You're not wrong, she needs someone to protect her".
"Why?"
"She, just needs it. Mother. . cannot let her go". Josh looks at his mother. She once again took a deep breath.
"Josh, I think about this deeply, this is really hard for me"
"What is it mother?"
"I need you. . I need you to protect her"
"From what? I can arrange bodyguards for her if you worry that much"
Madam G holds Josh's hands and looked into his eyes. "I need you to protect her. Marry her".
