Drake opened the note. It was not just a note. It was a letter. A letter from Joy to Drake. A letter that was going to change everything for Drake and Joy.
Drake opened the letter with a worried expressionšš on his face and with fear that has aways hunted him till now, fear of Losing Joy.
The Letter Says:-
" Drake,
Thank you for always being there for me, thank you for taking care of me and for teaching me how to live for myself. what you did for me, I don't know If I would be able to repay you ever Drake.
When everybody left me all alone, you would there by my side, you were there every time I needed someone to rely on, you were there Drake.
As Drake reads this he could feel something is wrong, He ran to Joy's room. He enters the room, he looked around, Joy's bag, her all stuff were gone, her clothes, her things everything was gone. Drake couldn't believe this, where did all of her stuff go? wondered Drake." He tried to call her but it was unreachable.
Drake opened the letter to read further to know what happened?
"You helped me to get through my worst phase of life, you, Grams, Embrey, Peter, you all stood by my side, I really thought that I would be able to forget everything with time, with your love for me. And I really tried to do that, I tried to let go of everything and Cherish what I had, I thought that with time everything will be alright, I will be able to forget everything and move forward, but this did not happen.
When I went to the ICU room where I used to see my Mama every day and talked to her, I don't know why but every one of her memories, the pain and tears of not saying goodbye to them for the last time came from my eyes, everything kept reminding me of Lisa, Mama, my truth. I could not let go of anything Drake. I could not.
I am sorry Drake, I am so sorry, But I need to go, I need to leave or I won't be able to live anymore. I thought with your love I would be able to start over but I think I was wrong. I know If I had told you about it then you would have even left everything for me but I can't do that, I don't want you to sacrifice anything for me, Drake.
I am going far away from here to start over and to live on my own. I don't want you to find me, I know you love me but maybe we aren't mean to be together, I am sorry Drake, I can't be with you, I hope our paths never cross again in this life and I don't want you to wait for me Drake, I want you to live your life and find love again. I know It would be hard for you but I know you will find the person who really deserves you.
I hope you would understand me Drake and would forgive me. I am sorry, Drake."

As Drake read the letter, he could not believe Joy left him, he broke down in tears on his kneesššššš, tears of being betrayed by the person he believed the most were falling from his eyes.
But Drake truly loved Joy, Even though Joy asked him to not find her, to not go after her. Drake ran out of the house. he gets in his car.
He had no idea where Joy went when she left the home but what he knows was that he needs to stop her, that he needs to tell her that his happiness is with her, and he could go anywhere with her.
Drake drove as fast as he could, he went to stations, he even looked at places where Joy could be. But she was nowhere. he went to the city airport to look for her.šāāļøšāāļøšāāļø
But she was not there, he shouted her name out.
" Joy? Joy? Please don't leave me, Joy? where are you Joy? you can't leave without your Dumboo joy? Please don't leave me, I would die Joy, Joy? Joy?" cried out Drakeššš in pain as she got on his knees at the airport with the hope that Joy might be there.
" I can't live without you Joy, I can't" cried Drakešš.
The airport Security took Drake out and asked him to please leave and do not create any chaos.
Drake was not himself, he feels betrayed, he was in pain, a lot of pain, that can't be described in words. He has lost the person he loves the most, the person he waited for 4 years, His fear proved to be true. Joy left him just because she could not get over her past.
It was past midnight, Drake sat on the bench outside the airport, his eyes were filled with tears and the letter in his hand and all he could say was," Don't leave me Joy, I would die, I would diešš."
Drake sat their whole night thinking He would see Joy coming to him and telling him that She is not going anywhere, that she would always stay by his side. but it was not gonna happen, Joy had left him to be in pain forever.
Did not she realise how hurt Drake would be when she would do this to him, what was she thinking?
The next morning Embrey tried to call Drake but he did not receive her call. Embrey tried calling him again.
Drake answered the phone.
As Drake answered her call, Embrey was so excited to hear from Drake about Joy's answer on getting married to Drake. she did not let Drake say anything.
Hello? Drake? Why were to you answering my calls, okay, now, tell me, how did it go? what did Joy say? did she like the ring? Hello? Hello? Drake? say something? Drake? Drake?" said Embrey on phone.
When Drake didn't answer anything Embrey was worried, she again called his name, " Drake? Hello? Drake, is something wrong? Drake?"
All Drake could say was, " She is gone, Embrey, She is gone, she is gone."
As Embrey heard Drake's sad and hurtful voice, she knew something had happened.
" Drake? Drake? What are you saying? Where is Joy? Drake? where are you?" asked Embrey in a worried tone.
But all he could say was that Joy Was gone, and she is not gonna come back.
" Drake? Drake? Please tell me where you are? I am coming to you, okay, just tell me where are you?" said Embrey in worried and tensed voice.
Drake told her where he was. Embrey hurried to the City airport. when she reached there, she looked all around to find Drake. she saw Drake, sitting on a bench with teary eyes and lost, he was just sitting there still, looking at his phone.
Embrey ran to him.
" Drake? Drake? What on earth had happened? What are you doing here? were not you supposed to be with joy? Where is she?" asked Embrey as she held Drake.
"She is gone, Embrey, she is gone, Joy is gone, Embrey" cried Drake as he hugged Embrey.
Embrey could not understand why Joy would leave Drake, there is no way Joy would do something like that. She held Drake and asked," What are you saying, Drake?"
Drake shows Embrey the letter Joy Left. Embrey read the letter, Embrey's hands were trembling as she read it. She could not believe Joy did this. She left Drake, the person who was always there for her, who always stood by her side in her sorrows and pain.
Drake broke down in tears.
" Why did she leave me? Why? I thought she loved me, But she did not, What I am gonna do now? Embrey, I don't wanna live, I don't wanna live Embrey? She is gone, she is gone, Embrey" cried Drake so hard that Even Embrey's eyes got teared up seeing Drake in so much pain.
Drake could not stop crying, the last time he cried this hard was when he lost his parents. Embrey could see his pain, his sorrow. Embrey held him, she tried to console him but she knows that this grief was not something that he could forget easily.
Embrey helped him to get in the car and drove to his home. she helped him sit on his bed and asked him to lie down.
But Drake could not. he still can't understand why would Joy do this to him.
He was right, Why would Joy Betray Drake, he was the person who loves her the most? did she ever love him? or was it just a lie? she betrayed him and left him, was her Past more important to her than Drake's love. did she even think once what Drake would go through because of her Betrayal?
Was Drake Wrong in thinking that Joy was a good and kind-hearted person? was Joy was not the person everyone thought?
